No, far from it... but even if we keep going at this rate we'll be finished sometime Friday or Saturday, which will give us a few days of trading I expect it will speed up at some point though. We couldnt take a week to make 35 picks could we? Haha
For the record, @jamabadar has until 6.46am* tomorrow to take their pick. (*edited to AM which is correct) If not picked by then, they get Jack Leslie. I'll be playing a basketball game right at that time. @Bearfly could you, or anyone else volunteer to post the autopick at 6.46pm if need be. Hopefully wont be a need for it... Edit * i will not be playing hoops at 6.46am so i can do this now.
@jamabadar was involved in the decision of when to start the draft too, so its not as though they didnt know it was on. May have forgotten though of course.

I've just got home after a few bevvies so I gotta be a bit wary of how I word this. OK I think I got it. Maybe not. Time will tell. It really annoys me that people come out and complain because someone doesn't take their pick in a time frame to their liking. We're allowed 18 hrs to take our pick, so live with it. If you don't like it, change the rules. Next, what really peeves me, is people who don't contribute to this league. They don't post their teams, don't post game reports, don't take any interest whatsoever, until it affects them, and then whinge because someone takes a bit longer to post their selection, which is not to their liking. I was really into this league when it commenced and posted accordingly, but apart from a few members, posts are very few and far between. I've now decided to only post game reports when Chinchilla plays a team, whose manager has shown an interest to post comments or reports previously, in this League. Have I gone too far? Up to you lot to decide, but unless there's an improvement in the 2nd half of the season, I'll be tossing up as to whether I put the Chinchilla Chumps up for sale. Sale is the wrong word but I'm not articulate enough or sober enough, to know the correct terminology, but what I mean is that I might just move on, cause I'm not enjoying this anymore. Be part of the league, take an interest, consider your fellow leaguies and get this league up with the others. OK I'm off to have a really strong coffee.
Hey mate, i reckon you should have read this thread sober... Who's been complaining? Also, have a look at rule 6c in the OP. The time limit is only there in case someone is facing an emergency, so that the draft can keep moving, its not so that people can use the 18 hours for whatever It is strange to have only 2 picks in a day, but im not concerned about this draft... Im more concerned about you not enjoying this league mate, would be a shame to lose you
I think you are reading way more into what was posted than was intended, and the posters discussing the drag are amongst the most frequent posters here.. This IS a much slower pace than we FA folk are used to, statement. We have encountered this before, and discovered that people have gone permanently AWOL during a draft, thus the rule. The fact that a coach hasn't been online for 48 hours during a draft is a concern, fact. That's about it. On a whole different topic, I agree that some people are less "involved" in the discussion around here than others, and it's not desirable, but folk are folk and "there's nothing so weird as folk". I'd hope your interest deosn't waiver as I value what you bring.
