Can the dream of a fairytale run to finals continue for 1 more week? Here is the team to try and make it happen as the Buffaloes host Pakenham in a match also vital for the Parasites as they look to grab a top 4 berth.

    In: Aish
    Out: Dixon

D: Jasper Pittard, Steven May, Nick Haynes, Nick Vlastuin
M: Patrick Dangerfield, Josh Kelly, Luke Dunstan, Rhys Mathieson (Jared Polec)
    R: Tom Hickey
F: Zac Merrett, Clay Smith, Joe Daniher, Brandon Matera (Jack Silvagni)
    I: Martin Gleeson, James Aish

In other team news, the Serengeti team management have sent a memo to all members and supporters with an attached missing poster for Jack Trengove. Jack made an impressive return to the side mid-year after a long running battle with injury but has disappeared since going on safari a couple of weeks ago with noone having seen or heard from him in weeks. If anyone has any information on Jack's whereabouts, team management asks that you would skip CrimeStoppers and call the club directly cause they'd just like to know where the ****** **** he is!

    Gisborne Grenades

DEF: Grundy, Talia, Hunt, Seedsman (Hamling) - didn't realise, but Harwood and Hombsch are both done for the year after missing the past month which is disappointing.
    MID: Neale, Hill, Stevens, Douglas
    RUC: Casboult (Witts)
FWD: Riewoldt, Ambrose, Billings, Brayshaw (Lennon) - Christensen is also out for the year, making it 3 first choice players unavaible from here on.
    INT: Masten, Gresham

Pakenhams team for the big matchup in the Serengeti....provided we don't get lost on our way!

B, Simo, Dempsey, Ruggles, Brown. (Hipwood)

    R, Blicavs
F, Roo, Bud, Jesse, Moore. (Shaq)
    I, Gilbert, Garlett

    In, Brown. Out, Hipwood

Hoping the boys can pull together something better then last weeks dismal scoring. Lots to play for this week so no time for spud performances. Pressure is on to perform.........a scary lineup to take on @wrightbrendan some hot performers running around for your lads. Hopefully I don't get blown off the park.

Haha. @eagle_eyed my rebuild only began a few weeks ago. @bryzza has been on a mission for a while now and rightly holds the title. We'll reassess the 2 teams after the 2017 season is done and dusted. I'm happy with the #rebuild Prince in the meantime. Purple Rain is my 3YO girl's favourite album - #genius! Good luck this weekend

Round 15 (18) - Korumburra Blowflies vs Sothern Cross Sandgropers

    In - A. Francis (new) P. Puopolo, T. Cloke

Out - J. McVeigh (groin) J. Hunt (omitted) M. Barlow (shoulder)

A groin injury to McVeigh sees a spot open up for KB's #1 (and only) pre-season draft pick of 2016, young Aaron Francis to finally make his debut for the Flies - big wraps on this kid. Unfortunately, Barlow will miss the remainder of the season with a nasty shoulder injury, while young Jayden Hunt is stiff to be dropped from the squad after just one down game. The form of the Travis and Poppy in the 2's has proven too good to ignore and they have both earnt their spots this week. Despite the injuries, competition for spots is hot at KB and Hunt, Cockatoo, Clarke and Kennedy will all be ready to rock as emergencies if needed for a late call up. The Blowflies playing for 2 wins on the trot for the first time in?...

    D - J. Johannisen, A. McDonald-Tipungwuti, S. Wellingham, A. Francis (EMG J. Hunt)
    M - R. Sloane, P. Hanley, L. Hodge, J. Redden (EMG M. Kennedy)
    R - T. Goldstein
    F - L. Montagna, S. Johnson, M. Walters, P. Puopolo (EMG N. Cockatoo)
    IC - S. Motlop, T. Cloke (EMG Z. Clarke)

Round 16 (19) - Korumburra Blowflies vs Nuytsland Vikings

(game 1 of the #rebuild rivalry)

    In - J. McVeigh, Z. Clarke, J. Hunt, N. Cockatoo

Out - J. Redden (shoulder) P. Puopolo (hip) T. Cloke (meatheadedness) S. Wellingham (hairstyle)

Aiming to finish off on a high, what has been a disappointing season for Korumburra, the Blowflys, hit with more injuries, welcome back the experienced new defensive recruit McVeigh, some much needed ruck support in Clarke and also use the opportunity to get another game of experience into exciting young guns Hunt and Cockatoo.

Facing the long and daunting road trip to Cocklebiddy, the Blowflys will be fighting for early bragging rights in game 1 of this new rivalry. Nuytsland are obviously favourites, being at home this week and further down the difficult rebuild path but KB love a challenge!

Regardless of this weeks result the future looks bright for the Flys, notching up 2 wins and a battling for a gallant defeat in the other match since the list mananagement team launched head first into this rebuild. Holding 4 of the first 21 picks in the upcoming PSD, Korumburra are set to be a force in 2017 and beyond!

    D - J. Johannisen, J. McVeigh, A. McDonald-Tipungwuti, A. Francis (EMG S. Wellingham)
    M - R. Sloane, P. Hanley, L. Hodge, L. Montagna (EMG M. Kennedy)
    R - T. Goldstein
    F - M. Walters, S. Johnson, S. Motlop, Z. Clarke, (EMG T. Cloke)
    IC - J. Hunt, N. Cockatoo (EMG M. Cox)

A patched up Southern Cross team for the long flight to Groote Eylandt.

    DEF: J.McGovern, H.Taylor, S.Day, L.Plowman
    MID: M.Duncan, B.Crouch, D.Sheed, H.Crozier (OOP)
    RUC: J.Roughead
    FWD: C.Rioli, D.Smith, J.Stringer, J.Darling
    INT: C.Cameron, J.Harmes

Sheed makes his first appearance in what's been a majorly disappointing season so far. A couple of top eight scalps offered the fans some highlights to savour but a failure to get our best 15 on the park sees the club planning for 2017; at the very least we hold bragging rights over our local rivals until next we meet.

    Go Gropers!
