DRAFT ORDER IS UP Let me know if there are any glaring issues, have gone off reverse finishing order as per rules thread and factored in traded picks.
cheers @ViQBoZ, as Black Swamp finished 3rd after home and away and Cockburn finished 5th then I had been expecting to get pick 12, 28 etc - but more than happy with pick 11 if that is what I get similarly I would have thought it would have been Drouin (R/U) 15, Neptune Island (Premiers) 16, I haven't checked back to the rules thread though !!
Good point, I took it from the ladder which would be the end of home and away results I will look over it again tonight!
One amendment for Maralinga and Heard Island from the Pre-Season trade period: With the trade deadline fast approaching, Maralinga and Heard Island have struck a deal. Maralinga send Scott D Thompson & their 2017 PSD round 4 pick to Heard Island in exchange for Sam Colquhoun & Heard Island's 2017 PSD Round 3 pick Read more at http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/2016-pre-season-completed-trades.89278/#kFIu4gY7vJzyMtCz.99
Based on our ruling 6(a) The Pre-Season Draft (PSD) each year will be in reverse order of the ORFFF ladder after finals results. Now the ladder kept counting results for active teams so is inaccurate as I took it originally. So my understanding is that at the end of Round 18 we locked in our bottom 8. I then took the ladder standings at the end of each finals round to order the two teams eliminated each round. My head is a bit foggy so please correct me if I have it wrong, haven't had a lot of time lately to really sit and study it. 9. Rutherglen 10. Wedge Island 11. Maralinga 12. Port Lincoln 13. Dingo Beach 14. Mount Thirsty 15. Heard Island 16. Walpole ROUND 19 Mole Creek and Jan Juc were eliminated 7. Jan Juc 8. Mole Creek ROUND 20 Cockburn and Blackswamp eliminated 5. Cockburn 6. Black Swamp ROUND 21 3. Chinchilla 4. Useless Loop ROUND 22 2. Drouin 1. Neptune Island
To be honest, and I'm not overly fussed, but I just assumed we would keep using the tsleagues ladder which updated after each round using the existing ranking protocols..Doesn't look much different though
The top two switch is all. Makes sense that the premiership team should get last pick so your method makes sense, I just hadn't thought of doing it that way
I just went through and checked my squad and realised I'd forgotten to update it after a couple of trades. Prob best everyone has a look at their squads to check they're right
I think it would be a good idea for a manager or two to do this to check and make sure all squads are accurate. The problem with decentralising the process it means 18 people have to keep things up to date and that means the likelihood of errors will happen.
Good call, Just as a note, I will wait for the veto deadline to pass on each trade before updating the trade and pick spreadsheet.
Sounds good. Just as long as the teams are up to date or at least people know who they have in their squad (I didn't )
I think (without crunching numbers) that pick 67 was the furthest travelled selection this period. Dingo Beach (via Heard Island/Macquarie Island/Mole Creek/Mount Thirsty)
@ViQBoZ - thanks for fixing this mate, i have checked a spready where I was tracking picks and noticed that in rounds 7 and 8 Neptune Island and Drouin seem to be swtiched based on everyone cutting to 24 these are the following picks that I think should be shown as PASSES 5th round 75 (Dingo Beach) 6th round 84 (Dingo Beach), 85 (Port Linc), 86 (Maralinga), 93 (Useless Loop), 94 (Mac Island), 96 (Neptune Island) 7th round 97 (Walpole), 100 (Dingo Beach), 102 (Maralinga), 105 (Mole Creek), 106 (Jan Juc), 108 (Cockburn), 109 (Useless Loop), 110 (Mac Island), 111 (Drouin), 112 (Neptune Island) 8th round - everyone except Wedge Island (119). anyone care to put up a draft thread (showing passes) and a draft discussion thread ??
Cheers mate, will do the final check now and have it all up to date tonight, figured I was likely to have missed something!
i think this should say heard island in there somewhere. Good work too, I love this sort of thing, its really interesting how some picks move around haha
