At the airport getting ready to fly to the uk. Missed adding pittard to defence, Polec to interchange and swapping Reid for Dixon in the forward line by a couple of mins... any chance of an adjustment?

Round 10 - Korumburra Blowflys vs Groote Eylandt Barracudas

Another long road trip this week for the Blowflys (8th). This time headed North to Groote Eylandt to take on the reigning champs, the Barracudas (2nd), who will be aiming for their 5th win on the trot! A tough ask for the Flys but they have already shown the ability to pull off a big road victory as the underdog this season, overcoming the mighty Serengeti Buffalos over in Africa last week.

The all time record between the two sides stands at 2-1 in favour of the Cudas. The Flys will need to post their 3rd win in 3 weeks to even the ledger. A big test this week for Korumburra sitting 8th on points amidst a logjam in what is proving to be a very even competition this season.

Wholesale changes for KBFC this week as the selection committee search for the right formula to knock off the 2016 premiers.
5 make way with Cockatoo and Steve Johnson both needing 2-4 weeks to overcome recent injuries. Redden, Hartung and 1st gamer Gallucci all pulled up very sore from the bruising encounter in Serengeti so will have the extra week off before the mid season byes to come back in tip top condition for the second half of 2017.

The youth rotation policy remains in force with the dashing Jayden Hunt back in after recovering from a recent concussion. Ollie Florent and Zac Fisher return to the fray with hard nut Matt Kennedy and the ever reliable Michael Barlow brings some extra experience back in to the squad after a weeks rest. A last minute call will be made dependent on the condition of the ground and the volatile tropical weather as to whether or not the yank bean pole Mason Cox gets a late call up.

    IN : M. Barlow, M. Kennedy, J. Hunt, O. Florent, Z. Fisher

OUT : N. Cockatoo (hamstring) S. Johnson (knee soreness / Geelong 2007 Premiership reunion piss up)
    J. Gallucci (rested) J. Redden (rested) B. Hartung (rested)

    D - S. Docherty, J. Johannisen, L. Hodge, J. Hunt (EMG A. Francis)
    M - R. Sloane, S. Menegola, M. Barlow, L. Picken, (EMG J. Gallucci)
    R - T. Goldstein
    F - M. Walters, M. Kennedy, P. Puopolo, O. Florent (EMG M. Cox)
    IC - A. McDonald-Tipungwuti, Z. Fisher (EMG B. Hartung)

I have a vested interest in this, as Coolgardie are playing Serengeti this week.
I'm also not "happy". We have cut-offs for a reason...

I am however leaning towards permitting these changes, as they only effect you and me.
Anyone have strong feelings either way on this?

I don't know about strong feeIings, but I'm of a different view in that the changes, if allowed, can affect every team in ORFFU as it can alter points scored for and thereby can.alter the draft position in the upcoming MSD..
So I would say, Rules are Rules.....and, unfortunate as it is, teams need to be lodged by the appointed time.

wouldn't permitting the changes actually harm Serengeti in the Points For? Assumedly @wrightbrendan made changes for the better to give him a chance to win the match, not tanking to get a better pick. If that's the case, which I reckon it is, then I reckon a slight allowance of 15 minutes when the poor bloke is flying internationally is all good.

They're actually all Port players that he left out from the previous week, and didn't try to put back into his side until it was too late...

I see @insider point here. I didn't look at it that way. However, Round 9 (Port and GC bye) was over last Sunday night and lockout wasn't til last night. And I'm sure overseas travel was more on his mind than a fantasy footy comp. but surely 4 days is enough time to bring your Port/Gold Coast players back in before heading to the Airport.......just sayin'
