Good luck mate. I'll continue to watch with interest.
I'm just glad I beat Schlocky in the Ashes a few weeks back!!!

It is hard, ball just isn't bouncing our way at the moment. We should have won by 8+ goals tonight

Those that still have Otten must be happy. He'll make some more decent cash now leading up to his bye!

I think I would like to throttle Otten for starters, although demons Hibberd, his replacement was only a couple of points behind, however I could have saved a trade. The round will come when all our premos will bring their A game just to prove we might have known what we were about.

Yes good timing for otten and will hopefully be more or a less swap for lloyd in a few weeks after his 4 this week. A few rookies getting some nice scores, stewart and hannan as well will make it easier to cash them in.

Hows everyone tracking along at this stage? I have 1738 with pendles martin adams hoskin elliott yeo and murphy to come. Projected 2364 i think but ill believe that when i see it

Just saw that one of my opponents had VC on Tom Mitch. They mustve been disappointed not to have VC Danger.... but then they gave the C to Sloane, so all was well afterall :)

I reckon there'll be some high scores this round. Looking across the games, most high scorers are SC relevant players, so i reckon there'll be teams that hit most of them. Also several high scoring rookies.

Im on 2090 with Shaw and Yeo to come but i fear im a bit behind par. Not long now until we find out.

I think Im gonna change plans from this but not yet sure... I will be upgrading Steele at some point anyway and his BE is sort of high right now. Given his bye is this week, i think im gonna pull the trigger... mainly because it allows me to bring in Treloar or Joel Selwood instead of Scott Selwood.
Im only considering this and not really sure yet.
With Newman, Fisher, Barrett to Laird, SSelwood, Shai Bolton, im left with 1 mid upgrade remaining (easily done from Selwood in a few weeks) and Steele in fwd.
With Newman, Barrett, Steele to Laird, Treloar/JSelwood, Shai Bolton, im still left with 1 fwd upgrade remaining but less money to do it. Still I think I'll go with the option that nets the extra premium mid. but its only early in the week. I should just relax for now and go to bed haha

Turns out i ended up doing a mixture of the ideas above.

      My trades this week:
Fisher, Newman & Steele to Scott Selwood, Laird & Shai Bolton.

Has left me with 11 trades and $175k in the bank. Still 2-4 spots to upgrade (mid/fwd/Sandi/Witts).

If i traded out barrett instead of fisher i couldve got Ducky, but id rather wait and upgrade Scooter or Barrett to Bont or someone else in a week or 3.
Scooter was too hard to ignore this week.

If i dont trade during byes from here on, ill still have ~19 playing players each week with 14, 15, 13 premiums (inc players like Sandi/Witts/Heeney as prem, but not Scooter) each round respectively, but im considering some trades to improve my squad through byes as i reckon its a key period to make some ground. I just want to save a couple of trades for the run home and hope for some luck :)
If i use 6 trades over next two weeks i could be fully upgraded and have 5 trades left for post-byes, which is probably enough.
