My slight preference is towards this. Last year I missed lockout by a couple of mins to make some changes after teams were finalised on the Friday and I just had to deal with it.
I'm with rules are rules , if there's enough time to log in check to se if you have won or lost Sunday evening or write a review surely you could added players back in

Not too fussed either way, hard to be too concerned about anything being off work for 7 weeks!, but just on the point of not adding them earlier in the week, it just hadn't registered that my port and gc players weren't already in the team cause of their bye. Also, when I'd logged in to check comments, JPK was the only one with a response that sounded as if it was going to be ok so I didn't make other changes to my team cause I thought that would make it more confusing or difficult to adjust. Anyway, as I said, happy to go with what the league thinks is fair and I'll make sure my team is set at some stage this week so I at least have a squad in if this happens again while I'm away
Gentleman???? Come on mate, the prick is on 7 weeks holiday, and didn't invite any of us!!! How much of a gentleman can he really be??? @wrightbrendan Hope you have a great holiday mate. Good planning with the byes - but do you need assistance with trades / delisting / MSD, etc? (thinking about this, maybe we should move this discussion out of this thread).
@JPK didn't you get invited as well?? oops, this is awkward now. I just couldn't refuse a fully funded holiday!!!

Round 14 (11) - Korumburra Blowflys vs Banchang Barcrawlers After a massive mid season draft and trading period, the rebuild is almost complete for the Korumburra Blowflys. This week the Flys (9th) welcome the Barcrawlers (15th) to the Terrordome! Ready and waiting will be what appears (on paper) to be the strongest team the club has ever fielded! The all time record between the two sides stands at 3-0 to Banchang! You can bet the Blowflys will be throwing everything at the Barcrawlers this week to notch up their first win against them. One man in particular, Sam Docherty, is eagerly awaiting the chance to take on his old side and do battle with the fellow Irishmen that he was exchanged for, Pearce Hanley. The Doc has been on an absolute tear this season - raising his game to an uber-elite level, currently holding the 2nd highest average in the league behind Dangerfield and is clearly the #1 defender in the comp this season. His current 7 week average is a ridiculous 129 - with no scores below 100 in that time! Needless to say he has been an invaluable addition to the Korumburra Blowflys. Huge changes to the last squad the Flys trotted out, adding our 2 recent draftees straight into the line up with young Jimmy Webster attempting to fill the big (and lightning quick) shoes of Johannisen in providing rebound from the back half. George Hewett comes in to replace the injured Barlow - his season over after a freak drunken amateur kickboxing accident which occurred while on a mid season break in Thailand, in which he manage to snap his foot completely off!! The Korumburra midfield has received a massive boost with the addition of experience and elite class in Gary Ablett and Brendon Goddard. These 2 massive ins will hopefully cover the unfortunate loss of Barlow and add something extra into the mix this season. The Blowflys forward line also needed a lift and big swingman Hooker should be a handy addition aiming to hold down a key position for us up front. Hewett will also help out up forward and rotate through the midfield along with hard nut legend Liam Picken. The youth rotation policy is still in play for the Flys with AMT, Florent and Fisher all still biding there time on the sidelines this week and with KB's new found depth, it will now be harder for the likes of 1st year players Florent, Ainsworth, Gallucci and Fisher to make their way back into the side. We wish all the best to our former team mates who have found new homes - the list of recent departures also includes Matt Kennedy, Nathan Freeman, Aaron Francis and Zac Clarke. IN : G. Ablett, B. Goddard, J. Webster, C. Hooker, G. Hewett, S. Johnson, OUT : J. Johannisen (traded to Pakenham) M. Kennedy (traded to Southern Cross) M.
