Mountford is a $123.9k mid named for his 2nd game, is anyone taking the plunge on Friday night ??

Rice, Stengle, Dawson, Witherden and H McKay are emergencies as well.

Lloyd with a break even of 162 worth waiting a week........maybe one of the other 5 options then maybe berry to Lloyd next week

I guess it depends how many upgrades youve got left and how quickly you want to be fully upgraded.
Also which 6 defenders do you want to finish with? I personally think Lloyd will be top6, not sure on them others (obviously they could end up top6!).

Im considering trading Fyfe to Ablett and SPP to Mountford.

It would leave me with a lot of $$ to potentially trade Scooter to Bont next week in 1 trade. (I wish bulldogs were playing before Kangas and GC, so that i could predict Bont's price before making the trade, because if i cant do it in 1 trade, its gonna hurt me a lot).

It would also give me an extra premium this week which is the main reason im considering it, and thats because of Scooter scoring low with an injury.

I dunno though, im already so low on trades, so i probably should just hold tight.

What are people's thoughts about having too many players from the one team ?
ie: I have Buddy, JPK, Hannebery and Newman - Every game drives me crazy as there is always one or two under-performing

Whats worse is the insane value Lloyd is about to present, and Heeney is hard to ignore also. Potentially I could straight swap Newman to Lloyd, but that still leaving me with 4 Swans, and I really like Heeney as my last Fwd upgrade.

Is it really an issue having say 5 from one team ? Or is it merely in my head, and I should focus on straight stats and form ?!?!

Same issue with me, and I'm probably going to do a straight swap of Newman to Lloyd next week or the week after. I'm not sure on Heeney as I've already got a full forward line (if Nroo can perform). I see Sydney performing pretty well in the second half of the season, so should be more points around to get for the swan players. I wouldn't be considering any other swan though.

At the moment I will be trading Myers --> Mountford to get 18 on the park and free up some cash

My 2nd trade will be one of SPP to Stef Martin or Roughy to Dusty, Stef or Kreuzer. Unfortunately I won't end up with 19 players but I should be able to loop Hannan and Bolton at F6/F7, will probably take anything 60 plus from Bolton.

Then next week I should be able to trade in Yeo and Ryan, I'll have to juggle which rookies I trade out if the $$$ don't work out.

I've decided against it. I'm just gonna ride out this last bye week, save my trades, and hope my rookies perform well ;)

It would be handy to know more about Fyfe's injury; weather he'll come back ok or whether it'll hinder him more.

Mountford having a decent knock so far. Next week:

      Thumbs up: Mountford
      Thumbs down: Callum Brown

Mountford will be on the bubble but Brown has f/m.

Both should be good, cheap bench options

Yawn what a terrible game, Goldy was the only up side. My every instinct told me to leave scooter alone, but as always who listens to me.

Jake Barrett has been playing exclusively as a forward pocket today. No more midfield minutes. Probably time to move him on now.

You could well be right on timing, but as a very inside player I'd be surprised if that became his role
    17. TheTassieHawk
      TheTassieHawk
I might be mistaken but I had heard that that was his early season role before the Beams/Rocky injuries where Berry and possibly Barratt would have benefited more than some others.

I think post byes the remaining starting or early season rookies that people have kept pretty much have to go as they will struggle to hold an onfield spot and are too expensive to be sitting as cover on the bench when every $$$ is needed to get an upgraded team.

For sure he is at or close to time to move on in SC, just never viewed him as a fwd, he is/was pretty good at pressure acts so maybe they want him as a defensive fwd.. He isn't quick or agile enough to be a traditional small fwd
    19. benny01
      benny01
It was his role when first entering the side and yes he's obviously a midfielder, but maybe they're just getting some games into him before moving him there later on?
He had been playing there lately with all their players out injured and scored well. 87 3gm avg. 76 5gm avg.

I haven't been watching the second half but he's got a lot more stats since half time Maybe he's moved mid in the second half. He could be worth holding for one more week. If you have an upgrade to make though he could be worth moving on.

      I'm dreading this GC game.
My team isn't doing very well this week and I'm guessing Tom Lynch will rub my nose in it with a big score, following my decision last week to bring in Buddy instead of him
