Are we doing Big Tap this week? Cause big Wittsy will not be able to get any points, at no fault of his own
If it is up to me, then yes, there will be a Big Tap this weekend. Based on the boards decision to not give any compensation to those coaches with PA or GC players, then it goes ahead. If we were getting those players averages, it would be better for @Tomster but that is not what the board decided. Happy to be overruled by the Commish, if need be!
As far as I'm concerned, this week is a week of ORFFU footy, so there's POOYA, Big Tap, and every other award that we have on offer... Players are out, that is sad, but things go on.
@martyg the suspense is killing me... where is the penultimate round update! @wrightbrendan how is Mummy going? is he gonna get up?
Ah, yeah mate. Sorry, work has been getting in the way of my Fantasy football world. I will try and do something tonight
Haha. Mummy will be doing whatever is best for the team. There will quite possibly be some big names out for a rest again this week!
McEvoy vs Bellchambers Mumford vs Tucker Kreuzer vs Jacobs Some big match ups to decide the winner of Big Tap 2017! Mummy should comfortably get to 12 wins but some tough contests for McEvoy or Kruezer that will make them earn it if they want to take out this year's award!
It all comes down to this weekend gents. The Big Tap award will be decided and it's the closest race in ORFFU history! Last week saw big Sauce Jacobs fail to get over the line and is now stranded on 10 points and unable to take out the title. Even if he gets the win this week, he will only make 11 points. But, who is playing against?? well Kruezer! Kruezer is currently on 11 points and a good chance to take out the title. He is one of the inform rucks of the competition and could easily take it out! Mummy is also on 11 points and he WILL win this week, barring a late minute injury to Mummy, he has it in the bag. This week is going up against Darcy Tucker (OOP) and the 1 point is in the bag! Big Boy McEvoy, the current leader on 11.5 points. Starting at 100-1 odds early in the season, who would have thought he would even be relevant! Haters gonna hate. Big Boy comes up against Tom Bellchambers so its no easy feat, but on current form, I am backing him in!! *** Real life match-ups which are significant - Jacobs v Ryder in the showdown. If the Crows dominate, then it could be tough for Kruezer. I think Ryder will get the job done on Sauce, which should help Kruezer. Mummy v Gawn. This is gonna be tough for Mummy to get the job done and might limit his hit outs to advantage. McEvoy v the Nank. The Nank has been well below par in the 2nd half of the season and Big Boy could easily go 100+ against the Nank. and.... the last real life match up - Kruezer v Bellchambers. Kruezer should dominate a poor performing Bellchambers and get the biscuits. My crystal balls have been rubbed and the predicted outcome: McEvoy by half a point! Bang a Gong!!!!
