Looking more and more likely a showdown with the Fugitives next week. Dropbears 1198 & Pittard, Walker vs Woylies 999 & Howe, Bruest, O'Brien.
Boozers coming from the clouds. With the ducks stopping in their tracks. Boozers 14.5-1245 with a half from Ryder left vs ducks 13-1108 with a half from Atkins, lever, Douglas and Jenkins to come.
@Darran this looks to be a thriller, the Whalers courtesy of Caddy, Lambert & Astbury have come from the clouds and look to have taken an epic elim final by 10 points. A recount is underway!
Think I'm still down by about 80 with a quarter to go, 4 vs 1. Unfortunately my 4 Crows are playing like the are Port players, and Ryder is playing like he's a Crow!
Not if boozers pull off a miracle win. 1300 about the lowest we have scored For a while including a 7,35 and 42
@tyze1 I as good as walked out sometime last night after seeing the dismal scores put forward by my team & was starting to think about who was on the chopping block come trade & delistment time. After checking (following your message) looks to me like it might be something like 1215 to 1202 in favour of the Whales. If it does turn out that this is right and Whales have come back from the dead in the last quarter then the Fugitives can consider themselves very unlucky as given our scores last week I had no right to win this one.
I guess I'll take over the scoring duties since @leematty1 took off Pre-scaling scores: Boozers 1289 vs Ducks 1278
Noah's @That KI Guy ripped their way through the Virgin's with a score 1,438 to 1,319 (pre-scaling not that that matters)
I feel like we were the only ones to not buck the trend of Sunday comebacks. That's some storming home results this week. Normally it's sightseeing whales off the coast that's the seasonal attraction down at Walpole but this weekend it will be some beached Whales that'll be the star attraction. All for the chance of a preliminary final piss up.
Well played mate. Was a tight one up until the showdown and Port failed to turn up. Some nice cameos from Gawn, Sloane and Rich but engine room spluttering without a ton. Noahs on a steep upward trend and no doubt readying ourselves for the crash and burn.
The Ducks challenge just got a lot harder without a ruckman for 2 weeks. Could have really used the week off right about now...
