As carnage rains down onto the barren landscape that is the ORFFF remaining six teams. Depth continues to be tested as are tissue supplies as many coaches stifle the river of tears. Semi final 1 Jan Juc Ducks (@thokash) vs Neptune Island Noahs Semi final 2 Walpole Woylies (@port_leschenault) vs Macquarie Island Whales (@Darran)
Its Duck season - FIRE! Noahs still kickin Def - Howe, Haynes, Murphy, Newman (Hunt) Mid - Ross, Sidey, Gaff, Tyson (Hartung) Ruck - Gawn Fwd - Lynch, Betts, Taylor, Menzel (Weller) I/C - Sloane, Rich (Preuss)

We are keeping JPK fresh for our next match so only the two changes this week. Motlop & Leuenberger come in replacing Belchambers & Dale. Hopefully taking the lead from our Forwards the rest of the team will step up and put in a finals worthy performance this week. At Witts end with selection this week. Not confident at all but will back the in-form and the supposed premiums to get the job done. Hopefully the end result is us having a whale of a time. GL to the Islanders.
Poll added Black Swamp will be cheering on the Noahs this week as our a win will have the Ducks go 0-3 all time in finals "surpassing" our 0-2 in 2016. Even though the Woylies could go 0-2 as well with another loss this week we can't barrack for the arch rival Whales under any circumstances, go Walpole !!
Consistent with our arch rivalry I would expect nothing less, in fact if you were supporting us it would probably make the team uncomfortable & put us off our game. Just out of curiosity though at what was the cause our or arch rivalry because until now I though we were friends and it can't really be an arch rivalry unless it goes both ways otherwise it is just some weird obsession on your part. Oh and in other news after last night's game Walpole are 3/265 (88.3) and Macquarie Island 1/77 (77)
ORFFF Season 1 paired Chinchilla and neighbouring Black Swamp during Rivalry Round and thus has continued in 2017 as it has for all rivalries. With Dingo Beach and Chinchilla both relocating (perhaps due to the Black Swamp franchise owners bad bo) we have Rutherglen the nearest opposition but feel the inaugural rivalry is the stronger one, nothing personal mate !
Thanks for clarifying - I thought it was probably something like that. Glad to know I haven't run over your cat, or burned your house down without realising. Score check for the game against Walpole has the whales slightly ahead on 873/11 (79.4) and the Woylies on 840/11 (76.4). Comes down to Harmes, Koby Stevens, Shaun Higgins & Will Hoskin-Elliot for the Whales, against Daniel Howe, Clayton Oliver, Luke Breust & Jack Newnes for the Woylies. One big score or another early injury could make all the difference.
Ducks doing the ultimate duck imitation. Calm up top, yet kicking like crazy under the surface. Noahs 790/10 (79) vs Ducks 825/9 (91) Really having trouble getting a good grip on those flailing legs. Predicting a close one here.
Fairly ironic that I only needed my Crows players last week to just score average to get over the line, but they couldn't manage it. Come to this week and they all scored like premiums, where as Betts scored 100 less than last week. Fantasy footy is crazy at times.
Agreed. Though I reckon you earned some good fortune with 4 massive outs this week. Best of luck for an injury free and fair Sunday duel.
With WHE playing last it's going to be interesting to see if the Woylies can set a tough enough target for the Whales to chase, somewhere around 75-80 would be around par based on WHE's last 6 or so weeks.
For mine the Noahs look like they will need twin monsters from Max Gawn and Seb Ross in the early game to put scoreboard pressure back on the Jan Juc side, as the premiership defence dangles by a thread mid-way though the 3rd quarter in the higher scoring of the week's 2 matches so far.
Stevens injury opens the door for the Woylies, but Harmes doing his best to play for 2 people. Newnes/Oliver lift! This is your opportunity...or you're on the trade table! (no pressure)
Very sorry mate, I will try to even it up With the match now Jan Juc's for the taking McDonald, Boak and Crisp will simply have to avoid running into a stray Duck hunting party in order to secure Jan Juc's maiden finals win while the Noah's Howe and Sidebottom are set to run out for the defending premiers in the last quarter of the match.
