Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles vs Marble Bar Misfits A dominant season from the Cows as they finished the year on top of the ladder with a record 16-1 and come into the GF on the back of a very impressive 18 game winning streak. Ironically, their only loss for the year was a round 1 belting at the hands of their GF opponents, the Misfits. Plenty of water has gone under under the bridge since then, however, as the Cows have dispatched all comers from that point on. The Cows are yet to be truly tested in the finals as they have dominated their finals opponents while averaging a very healthy 1412 across the two games. If Mitchell (161) and Fyfe (142) can repeat last week's heroics, it will go a long to way to seeing @graeme celebrating at the end of the weekend. They'll be tough to beat, that's for sure. I think the Misfits snuck up on a few this year, rebounding from a 2-2 start to finish the H&A season in 3rd with a 14-3 record. The only blemish since the 2-2 start was a beating at the hands of the Cockies in ORFFA round 14 (AFL round 17). Averaging 1439 across their two finals games, it may be a case of peaking at the right time for the Misfits. With at least six Misfit starters likely to be wearing orange, the tough clash between the Giants and the Cats at Skilled Stadium is likely to have a big say in how this one plays out. If the Cows allow @Len 's adopted son Kelly (144) to play kick to kick with Whitfield (134) all day, then 2017 might just be remembered as the year of the Misfit. Fingers crossed that neither selection surprises nor injuries play a part in the outcome. Best of luck to both coaches. I'm happy to give it a go if nobody else wants to, but it wont be as prompt as I would like, maybe after the 1st game of the round, I'll see how I go.
