Your confused Chris? I am also confused. Gundagai sends MSD pick 69 to Darraweit for nothing? I assume it went to Gariwerd who then passed it through to Darraweit? Or did Brendon Ah Chee change hands for pick #69?
Actually pick 69 was a small part of the trade. If you look, Darraweit send picks 8 & 80 to Gundagai, so you could say that was in exchange for 69.... but you shouldn't. It was a 3-way trade for a reason, you can't just look at what moves between 2 of the teams in isolation. The whole trade makes it fair. Basically, snoz and I were trying to get a deal done involving Curnow and Rockliff, but I didn't have any draft picks to include as "steak knifes" to sweeten the deal, so I dumped a heap of players off to Chris so that snoz could get that top 10 1st rounder.
