    per the ORFFF calendar
    9am 15/1/18 to 11:59pm 18/2/18 - Pre-season trade period

Whack your auction items in here... once the Commish's bell rings

4(e) An “Auction thread” will be posted during the trade periods prior to drafts. Coaches may post a player or players or draft pick or picks or any combination of these as a package to auction in this thread. All players or picks to be auctioned should be listed with a closing day/time, and they cannot be withdrawn before that time. No player or pick being auctioned should be the subject of private trade negotiations nor used as part of a bid in another auction, until the auction of that player or pick has reached it's conclusion/closing time, with or without a sale. The initial posting of a reserve is optional and the reserve is not reached on any auction until the seller says so. Once a bid is tabled the bid is live until rejected OR deemed beaten by the person conducting the auction, it cannot be materially altered once tabled. No bid can be conditional on outcomes not directly related to the auction at hand. Once a reserve has been reached the seller has the option to adjust the auction length, but to no less than 48 hours, or the end of the trade period, whichever is the lesser. As soon as practicable after receiving multiple bids on an auction the seller should indicate whom is in front, any reasoning is optional. If reserve has been met, the winning bid must result in a trade, which is final and irreversible unless vetoed as per 4(f) or via a subsequent mutually agreed trade between the parties (which would also be subject to a veto period).

    The Avengers young midfield depth is astounding, unfortunately that's at the expense of some other areas, accordingly for auction;

Lachie Hunter- 23yo Mid WBD. Averaged 82 last year with 5 scores over 100, 4 of them post the byes.

In return we are after commensurate value from either an AFL best 22 R/F eligible player or a Defender with a similar profile to Lachie.
Auction ends 10pm Sydney time Friday the 26th Jan.
Make your Australia Day worth celebrating (and no, we don't want Lamb)

    And PSD pick 44.

    Hehe.
Yeah he definitely felt the squeeze after round 16 with Howe, Wells and Moore returning. Will interesting to see how the Pies defense shapes up in 2018.

So just to clarify...in your quest for a “defender with a similar profile to Lachie” would that be one that has experienced a 12pt SC drop from 2016 -> 2017?;)

sure, I'll take that, as long as they also scored 4 100s post byes, averaged over 80, aged 23, is down mostly because the team went to sleep last year and is likely to rebound hard this, so yep, in that context 100% :thumbsu::thumbsu:

With joviality taking over, i'm not sure i'm any wiser to Lachie's actual "profile"
Nonetheless, i'll have another dip. If nothing else, the tete a tete is entertaining.

Noahs bid Marchbank and pick 44 for Hunter.

Oops, I was going to add a draft pick, but posted it in haste.

given the rules state bids "cannot be materially altered once tabled" I better wait to see if it is rejected.

Or maybe Clarke is enough Len?

ty sire, I am somewhat desperate, but would probably do better with an OOP ruck over 22 games than with toejam

Cheers mate, appreciate the offer, but I have zero ruck, so a backup guy isn't going to work for me, no matter how good he may be.
Marchbank and 44 clubhouse leaders, 5 under

I think Marchbank 5 years younger has a lot more upside mate, but thanks for the bid
