I have a surplus of Fwds and Defs, so the following are available if this can assist your squads. Happy to consider a starting mid in the twilight of their career, or even late draft picks for any of the following; Frost (def) Sutcliffe (def)
Macquarie Island have just finished a list review and are in need of some defenders and forwards or some draft picks. In return we have some players who we are willing to include in any discussions which are listed below. Def: Alex Silvagni, Daniel McKenzie Mid: Sam Kerridge, Steven Motlop, Bailey Dale Ruc: Tom Bellchambers, Matthew Leuenberger I am also open to discussion around others on our list
Im not sure why I just did that trade for Pat Lipinski. I thought it was too hard to pass up, but now I realise I should probably let him go to a better home, somewhere he can be looked after better than out on Heard Island. Im looking to trade any of the below listed guys for draft picks. Let me know if you are keen. This list is based on what draft pick I'd want in return, but these are just rough values subject to negotiations and market value etc... 5th rounder: Josh Wagner Melbourne Connor Menadue Richmond 4th rounder: Matt Broadbent Port Adelaide Clay Smith Western Bulldogs 3rd rounder: Pat Lipinski Western Bulldogs Lin Jong Western Bulldogs Darcy Tucker Fremantle Brandon Matera Fremantle 2nd rounder: Jackson Thurlow Geelong 1st rounder: Mason Cox Collingwood Remember the above is just a guide only. Get in touch and make an offer!
I just found out that Michael close was delisted. Wow. Thought he showed promise. Guess there is one extra space on my list now
With the recruitment of Tucker, the Noahs list squeeze looks to claim another victim. If you have a spare fourth or fifth round pick then Mav Weller (Fwd) could be yours. Enquire within.
Ok after quite a few trades already, the boozers update is as follows; Players available for trade, most likely just looking at improving our current draft positions. Sam Frost (def), 24yo who played 16 games and averaged 65 last year Cameron Sutcliffe (def), 25yo who played 13 games and averaged 61 last year, after playing 19 games each of the prior two years averaging 66 and 68 (both going cheap, happy to improve a pick by a couple of spots for either) Otherwise worth a little bit more are; Grant Birchall (def) Jackson Trengove (fwd) Otherwise if anyone wants to trade bundles of picks to improve for us both let me know, i have the following picks, 36, 59, 61, 62, 65, 74.
Paying overs for about half of the Avengers squad there KI Guy, Len has really thrown a curve ball with the ORFFF's first ever mystery auction
Boozers were already on the whiskey (as our name suggests), not possible for us to be involved in any more trades is it??
From memory rules weren't officially updated but I think the understanding for all is that any part of a trade can be on traded within 48 hours without restriction. The main grey area is what happens if/when the first trade is vetoed and presumably that would be for the Commissioner and/or Committee to work out if the parties to the 2nd trade can't agree or the trade period has expired. As a party to the first trade you are aware of that risk before making the 2nd trade and the only question is whether you are obligated to let the other coach/es (in particular @That KI Guy) know of the "subject to veto" component - which you have - or whether that onus is on the other coach/es which in theory it probably should be.
Thanks. Makes sense. Also allows ontrading in the final window and I'm sure there's no one in this group that will do a lopsided trade that gets vetoed
So with the latest trade the future of a few Glow Worms becomes clearer. We will welcome bids on the following players as they are all a strong chance to be culled at the end of the season! Picks or pick upgrades preferred although happy to package several up for a single player if the deal suits! Anthony Miles (MID) - Just outside the premiership team last season, the question for 2018 is can he get back? Super ball winner when he plays with averages of 90 in 2016 and 97 in 2015 James Aish (D/M) - Showed glimpses of talent in the tail end of 2016 then followed that up with a real in 2017. Still only 23 can he take that step up he needs to be a regular at the pies in '18? Dean Kent (FWD) - Coming into his 6th season and still only 23, Kent a positive year in 2016 playing 20 games averaging 72 and looked like a lock in the Dees best 22 with some real upside. Unfortunately a 2017 disrupted by injury has set him back, can he get back in the team and continue his improvement? Billy Stretch (MID) - Probably quite unlucky to be on this list. The father-son pick has been in and out of the Dees first team but shown real glimpses of talent at stages. The 21 year old played 9 games in 2017 with an average of 71 after 16 in 2016 averaged 68. Looks like a player who should take a step this season and hopefully play a fair few games! Jake Barrett (F/M) - Former GWS early selection got his chance off the rookie list last season. Playing mostly forward pocket (very much not his position) with a few exits he is a sneaky chance to get thrown in the guts this season and really break out! Nathan Hrovat (F/M) - Nathan hasn't even unpacked his bag and is potentially on the move. Young forward played all 22 games last season for an average of 67 and is having his first uninterrupted preseason right now. Should look to solidify his place this season in a young Roos side and potentially pinch hit in the middle from time to time. Joel Hamling (DEF) - Recent acquisition has been told to keep his items in boxes 'just in case'. Undoubted best 22 in the Fremantle side his only issues are injuries and scoring. Played all 22 last season and averaged 63, with a big preseason maybe he could break into the dizzying heights of a 70+ average this season? Curtly Hampton (MID) - Probably my favourite player. A supremely talented player who can play everywhere, but has had terrible injury runs. 9 games for an average of 60 last season undersells him and will be a real chance to take Brodie Smiths role across half back this season if he can stay on the park! Unlikely to be delisted, but up for discussion Aaron Francis (D/F) - Geez I want this bloke to make it. Star talent, Poor Body, Pea Heart? If it clicks for Francis he could be anything, if it doesn't he'll still get a second chance with one of the Adelaide teams but it will be such a waste. Brodie Smith (DEF) - Consistently one of the best defenders in Supercoach. An ACL will see him miss this season but a new 3 year deal will see him back in 2019. Sam Gray (FWD) - Up for auction, only a pick in the first 3 rounds of the PSD required and you get a pick back!!! Why are you reading this? Go and get him!
Yes I don't think rules were updated. Doesn't appear to be any overwhelming dissent on this proposal (then or now) so i'll update the rule to read something along the lines: Assets can be on-traded within the 48 hour veto period, provided that the on-trading party clearly communicates (via relevant thread) the conditional nature of the asset.
Personally I am a little wary of passing on assets that aren't officially yours yet. Sure we don't have any trades vetoed yet, but it is something that could be a further issue if we do have a veto and then have to unpick further moves. And then we have to revisit the rules again and have this same conversation. The 48 hour waiting period is fool proof for avoiding complications and with the length of the trade window it's not like we are in any rush! (It also allows me time to update pick selections without error!)
