Again, thanks for the bid but a little short. Im probably looking top 40 or thereabouts for the return pick. I think the market value has been set with the slightly lesser forward option also up for auction.
Im going to put 3 more players up for auction. I am considering delisting 1 or 2 of these 3, but I'd rather not drop any of them. If I can trade at least 1 for a draft pick, it will make my decisions easier. Pat Lipinski - Western bulldogs mid - 19 years old Second year player, looked good on debut in the final round of 2017 with 18 disposals. News says he will play midfield this season and get games. I just traded him in for pick 39 - doh! I shouldnt have waited until after trading to assess my list properly! Lin Jong - Western Bulldogs mid - 24 years old Very talented and athletic with huge potential. Has averaged 72+ the last 2 seasons. Jackson Thurlow - Geelong Cats def/mid - 23 years old Was excellent early in his career, and averaged 70 in 2015 from 19 games, before missing all of 2016. Only averaged 54 in his return last season from 10 games, but still lots of potential. A special player. I want draft picks, but a player might get the deal done too
Up for auction, Adam Treloar, Mid, Collingwood, not a shit player tbh. Currency required is a commensurate quality ruck, or a ruck who is locked into best 22 and a pick Auction will expire Friday 9th 11pm unless a suitable bid is received
Players up for Auction - Separate Unreserved Auctions, will take draft picks for any of these players. Best offer wins! Billy Stretch (MID) Anthony Miles (MID) Dean Kent (FWD) Curtly Hampton (MID) Jake Barrett (F/M) Auctions End Friday 9th at 9pm
I'd like get a group discussion going on future picks at some stage, but would need to be post this draft to be fair to anyone who has already made trades based on current rule
Nangkita bucks offer Zac Smith (91ave ruck off 19 games last year) and pick 50 for "not a shit player" Adam Treloar
Thanks mate, Smith is not a long way.off reserve, but the pick doesn't do anything for me.and with Smith's profile showing just the one decent year the pick would need to be pretty good.
Sales pitch courtesy of the HUN today ADAM TRELOAR $557,600 MID While his 2017 season was a little up and down, we are backing Treloar to bounce back with a big 2018 — at a very attractive price. Treloar’s best means huge points. He scored over 140 twice during 2017 and over 120 on four occasions. He has averaged over 100 points for the past four years, including 111 just two years ago. We are extremely confident he will make it five out of five.
It's less than I'd like by a margin tbh, but the reality is I need ruck or I am only pretending to participate this year. Bid meets reserve, auction end date/time unchanged.
I think I have put in the highest bid but didn't meet reserve. I have nothing further I can offer so I'm out
