Started this draft with only one DPP, whereas had a fleet last year. Would suggest the knee jerk reactions from other clubs to Richmond's mosquito fleet meant that pint sized midfielders were suddenly finding themselves up forward, and subsequently were classified as forwards this season. That still does not excuse Rory Lobb not being R/F.
Pretty close to zero surprises so far, from here on though I'm tipping it gets a lot less predictable
He was next on my list so you can get stuffed @TerryinBangkok You can get stuffed too @Fitzy And that makes it a trifecta! Get stuffed @bama
After the under 18 National Championships concluded in July last year I have had a few players that play purely as a defender and/or forward at the top of my draft board including Aaron Naughton and Oscar Allen. For the past few months Naughton has been my first preference and Allen has been my second preference so I was delighted when Naughton was still available. It is not a prerequisite that the AFL club of the Devils first round pre-season draft selection has ‘Western’ in the club name, it is just the way it has turned out at the last five ORFFA PSD’s with three Greater Western Sydney players selected in Tom Boyd (2014-pick 7), Jack Steele (2015-pick 13) and Jacob Hopper (2016-pick 8) followed by two Western Bulldogs players being picked in Tim English (2017-pick 8) and now Aaron Naughton.
Lenny left off for cricket this morning before this flurry of picks occurred, and didn't have a list thats going to be helpful anymore for this pick it seems. So we might be in for a bit of a wait till this evening unfortunately #BlameLenny
