Assuming all teams take their minimum 6 picks then pick 83 is a 13 pick upgrade on pick 96 (which is the lowest possible pick even if it is nominally 97-112) A 13 pick downgrade in the 5th round (67 to 80) for a 13 pick (or even less) upgrade in the 6th round seems out of whack in my book. Could @Dale Duivesteyn explain what I am missing that makes the Bucks want to do this deal without adding a swap of picks 30/31 or 65/66 in the early rounds ??
Mole Creek trades Brodie Smith, PSD Pick #68, #86, 29ers MSD Round 2 to Macquarie Island in exchange for Bailey Dale, PSD pick #27 and Macquarie Islands MSD Round 1 @Darran
Still in veto period so you could ask the league to do that if you want. Should be enough coaches around.
Because even though it is close to the lowest absolute I still didn't want the absolute junk end of the draft. I mean isn't complete pot luck that far in the draft anyway?
Appreciate it, however I'm happy to cop it on the chin if it bites me. I would assume its not that big of an issue. Don't want to step on leematty1s toes. Sorry guys if it doesn't make sense to you.
No worries - we can theoretically trade out all 6 picks and use Notional 7th-12th rounders if need be but that explains your rationale.
Nah I do appreciate the concern though don't want to drive a 2nd year coach away haha. Wait for the third year to sack him
4(f) Trades will be cancelled if 4 ORFFF coaches believe the trade is unbalanced in favour of one of the participating teams and cast a veto vote in the relevant thread. Read more at http://tooserious.net/forum/threads...l-federation-rules.89340/#jkRuZuBf8TW6lBiL.99 It seems this trade has given us grounds for a veto. It is slightly unbalanced. When they are just picks its less ambiguous/subjective because picks have somewhat of a certain value until they have players associated to them. However, I get @Dale Duivesteyn argument about avoiding such a late pick by moving into the 80s instead... I guess picks still are kinda subjective because we all have different preferences about where we want to pick based on the types of players we think will be available at any given range of picks. I wont veto this if Dale is clear its what he wanted.
I won't veto, I was just curious and there have been a lot more unbalanced trades including pick trades in my opinion.
no worries mate. Good luck with it. I actually dont mind having the very late picks but it doesnt make sense rationally! Each to their own hey!
Per the auction thread, the 29ers have traded Aliir Aliir and PSD pick 76 to Heard Island for PSD pick 55. http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/2018-orfff-pre-season-auction-thread.90050/
