Round 3 Buffaloes looking to get the season back on track at home against the Barracudas

D: Steven May, Nick Haynes, Tom Langdon, Kade Kolodjshnij
M: Patrick Dangerfield, Josh Kelly, Scott Pendlebury, Zac Merrett (Constable)
    R: Scott Selwood (Coffield)
F: Charlie Dixon, Jeremy Cameron, Ben Brown, Joe Daniher (McCartin)
    I: Jack Steven, Allen Christensen

    In: Selwood
    Out: Longer

Long time ruck strategy has fallen apart with Longer still suffering a swollen groin area and Tom Hickey nowhere to be found. Scott Selwood has put his hand up to play the in-vogue tall midfielder ruck position but he may be replaced by potential debutant Nick Coffield

    Pakenhams round 3 lineup.

It what was a surprising win last week away from home against a formidable opponent, the team is home this week and full of confidence. Some nice scoring 2 weeks running has us with high hopes to keep the ball rolling.
A tough Blowfly unit will be a tough challenge, and a coach who we know well at Pakenham, having hosted many a basketball game against @Mick he will be welcomed into town again, we can continue our rivalry and tough competition, another exciting matchup looks at the ready.

B: Simpson, Mullett, Johanisen, Carlisle (Brand)
    M: Sidebum, Gaff, Newnes, Blicavs
    R: Bellchambers (Vardy)
    F: Bud, Hogan, Hipwood, Marshall
    I: Sinclair, Cerra (Dureya)

    In: Cerra. Out: Moore

We are pleased to introduce Adam Cerra to the FU community, a high draft pick with a big future.
He gets the call up after a solid first game last week as emergency, unfortunately young Moore is the out due to injury.
Hopefully Cerra can show some promise like Marshall has so far. We a super excited with Marshall’s start to the year. But not so excited with how my pathetic midfield is scoring. We have a few on the chopping block going into next week so they are all on call....including Sinclair...spud.
    Time to fire boys.
    Go Sighters

@JPK I’ve updated my team in TSLeagues but have to jump into a second parent teacher interview. I’ll post the team in this thread when I’m done. No funny buggers, just haven’t had a chance.

    Edited to tag the commish.

Korumburra have had the wood over Southern Cross boasting a 4-0 win loss record. Unfortunate injuries to Docherty, Webster & Ablett as well as the AWOL Barlow have leveled the playing field for round 4, robbing the Blowflys of some potential match winners. The Southern Cross board are cautiously optimistic that 2018 should see the end of the hoodoo and a squaring of the season ledger to 2-2.

Your Southern Cross Sandgropers* for the round 4 trip to take on @Mick's Korumburra Blowflys

    DEF: M.Hurley, B.Hardwick, M.Hibberd, J.McGovern

Round 4 - Korumburra Blowflys (10th) vs Southern Cross Sandgropers (11th)

Coming off disappointing back to back losses, the Blowflys have been further decimated this week with injuries. @eagle_eyed summed it up well - on top of missing the #1 defender in ORFFU (Docherty) for the season, this week we lose our top overall scorer so far this year (Ablett) and our best defender so far (Webster). Add to this the bizarre disappearance of Michael Barlow - a ball magnet projected to easily be a top 10 forward this year and we are severely *hamstrung. Whispers of sightings of our Mick in the jungles of Thailand, entering a remote Buddhist temple to undertake a 38 day vipassana meditation have prompted the clubs hiring of "Dave" - Korumburra's #1 private detective / cabinet maker to investigate. Godspeed Dave...

The Blowflys depth is being severely tested and we'll need solid performances from the forced changes this week, excitement machine AMT - being injected straight into the engine room in his 1st game for 2018 and Zach Guthrie down back in his first game for the club.

Big advantage to the 0-4 (head to head) Gropers. Ex-Blowflys Kennedy and McVeigh can expect a warm but somewhat hostile welcome as they return to the mighty Terrordome with surely mixed emotions. Hopefully they do the right thing and either feign early injuries or choose to dine pre game at Korumburra's new modern Korean fusion café / truckstop and contract mild to severe food poisoning.

    In : Z. Guthrie, A. McDonald-Tipungwuti

Out : G. Ablett (hamstring), J Webster (hip)

    New : Z. Guthrie

    D - L. Hodge, N. Vlastuin, A. Tomlinson, Z. Guthrie (EMG. J. Hunt)
    M - R. Sloane, S. Menegola, J. Redden, B. Hartung (EMG O. Florent)
