hahaha, Tom Hickey named on the interchange bench. I for one will be watching with (renewed) interest.

The trade of Poowong's pick one in 2016 (Callum Mills) to MBD for Billy Longer is one of the more intriguing trades in ORFFL history.

As it stands, the Potoroos' DEF line is actually very strong and Mills wouldn't actually add that much to it. Although it would skew young, with juries and so forth.

On the other hand, Longer hasn't solved their RUC problem either. Although I hear he might be helpful if Poowong branch out into an ESports venture like Essendon. So there's that.

Naismith and the injuries to their MID line is just bad luck for the most part*.

*Gary is no spring chicken and BCrouch doesn't have a great history regarding durability.

Well I remember the day that @4nsy said Nankervis wouldn’t amount to anything... or something to that effect... :D:D:D

EDIT: perhaps a slight exaggeration on hornsy’s thoughts on Nankervis ;) wouldn’t be reliable as a number one ruckman was more like it

Ok, so everyone loses to Team Hindsight, who has more premierships than even the Savages

I think Hornsy was actually just a victim of the list culling that has to take place each year.. I think he would’ve kept him if he could have (and if he’d known Swans were gonna trade him to the Tigers)

Is this the right forum for a cheap shot? If so then: @Jason, I am having trouble finding Hickey's score for the round. I keep looking at the lower reaches of the saints SC scores and he's mot there.

For sure, just a one off event, an anomaly, a black swan sighting, an outlier. And no, he was not on the field for the glamas. :(

Speaking of cheap shots, the Savages are rather toothless without their actual Savage. No Irish, No bite. Shoutout to honorary Pyrite, Nathan Jones.

Gotta say, bless his cotton socks but Polec becoming our #1 midfielder this season was not something I predicted at all.

3-1 without Ryder, Docherty, Murphy, Hanley and Lobb. Who knew Jarryn Geary was a match winning ruckman. Oink oink.

That would be the Pootoroos, who have fallen to just 1 vote.

Congrats, was a fine victory to your mob. You certainly have a talent for picking up high scoring flankers at either end. Admittedly, a lot of these flankers tend to flake year to year (JJ, KK, Biggs, Daniel), but if it all comes together, ORFFL look the fuck out.

Hey @walesy I can't seem to change my team for Round 5. All the players are stuck on the yellow. There's a certain midfielder who absolutely shat the bed on the weekend who needs to be dragged out of the mess so we can clean it up.

Never actually had Nank the Tank. That'd be @thokash . Don't worry though, it haunts him throughout his days on this fantasy earth.

I do bemoan the forced trade-out of Connon Blakely though. He wasn't getting a game in my midfield, in all likelihood probably still wouldn't be getting a game in there, and I sold him to Woy Woy for practically nothing, because practically nothing is still better than actually nothing. Did likewise with Hipwood although maybe to a different team.

I simply bemoan it because I really like Connon. Great player who's only going to get better.

The one in the Admin section, that says "Save lockout" :D

If the clock next to is isn't ticking down, then you need to hit save.

I've had it on my list for years now to get that to happen automatically, but you know what they say about lists and lazy peoples?

Hipwood found his way to TLP after being delisted by BDB I think.
