Round 7 Date 04.05.2018 – AFL Round 7 THEME: Women’s Celebration Round After a wildly successful debut last season, the ORFFA Women’s Round is back. Most importantly, the round is marked by our two female coaches leading their improving teams into battle. Wagga Wagga Wombats v Mount Beauty Uglies Whitsunday Warriors v Marble Bar Misfits Charlies Opening Spelunkers v Iron Knob Codpieces Wineglass Bay Packers v Lovely Banks Lilacs Venus Bay Vultures v Cradle Mountain Devils Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles v Birdsville Battlers Gariwerd Cockatoos v Nunawading Nuffers Larrikin Lagoon Lefties v Darraweit Guim Dirigibles Gundagai Grasshoppers v Foul Bay Chickens NOTE - ALL teams have been wiped blank in tsleagues, if you don't enter a side you will forfiet
Gariwerd Cockatoos, round 7 IN: Josh Jenkins, Tom Bellchambers OUT: Chad Wingard, Chris Masten D: Hurn, Houli, Tuohy, Dunn (O'Shea) M: Polec, Steven, NJones, MCrouch (Masten) R: Sandilands F: Wallis, Christensen, Jenkins, Young (JGarlett) I: Hickey, Bellchambers (Miller)
Well, better stick 'em here. Looks like @Jason and @Len have had a bit of fun with code wars and TS looks a bit like the Hun at the moment - lots of nothing. DEF:Suckling, Johannisen, Andrews, Tarrant (Mcintosh) MID: Smith, Boak, Wines, Douglas (Fogarty) RUC: C. Brown (OPP) FWD: Kennedy, Motlop, Lambert, Patton (McCartin) I/C: Harmes, S. Gray (Ainsworth)
Hoppers Rd 7 - and yep, cant update the team in TS Leagues as well. IN: Hunt - Adams OUT: CCurnow inj, Coffield rest DEF: Mills - Shaz - Hardwick - Hunt (Zuthrie) MID: Cripps - ECurnow - Neale - Adams (Coffield*) FWD: Billings - Martin - Stringer - Fisher (Rayner*) RCK: Grundy (Cox) I/C: McClug - Cameron
Just tried again in all 3 leagues. Now at least I can get as far as the Enter My Team button, but then "An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later."
Anyone unable to enter a team through ts site (I am clueless on the issue it's a @walesy thing) please post the team here pre lockout and I will enter it
I entered my team in TS site and checked it 40 minutes later and it is still there but just in case it goes missing here is my round 7 team DEF - Rampe, Stewart, Jonas, Jones (EMG Bews) MID - Duncan, Hartung, Armitage, Amon (EMG Rosa) RUC - Sinclair FWD - Westhoff, Heeney, Lipinski, Moore (EMG Garlett) INT - Parish, Tyson
Round 7 squad: In: Vickers Willis, Smith, Ballard Out: May (inj), half of Lewis, Walters (inj) DEF: Rance, Astbury, Savage, Vickers Willis (DBJ) MID: Coniglio, Lyons, Goddard, Hoskin Elliot (Lewis) RUCK: Smith (Buzza) FWD: Gunston, Caddy, Edwards, Brown I/C: Newnes, Ballard (Jack) Zac Smith makes his return, the Blimps have a proper starting 15 for the first time since Round 1 and we welcome debutant Charlie Ballard. Its the first time we've had a player debut for the Blimps in the same week he makes his AFL debut since Marcus Adams back in 2016. Very exciting.
Hopefully, my team is in as I was able to access the enter team function last night but I'll post it here just in case. Possibly not much point though. I can field a full team, but I think Sheed and Acres out will make it hard for me to be competitive against the Cows. Kobe Mutch will play his first game for the Battlers and we're looking forward to seeing recent draftee Brayden Crossley in action in the seconds. Battlers team for round 7: In: Clarke, Hipwood, Mutch Out: Acres, Sheed, Robertson DEF: Witherden, Ryan, Doedee, Cutler, (half a McKay) MID: Treloar, Blakely, Hunter, L McDonald (Cerra) RUCK: Witts FWD: Taylor, Weller, T McDonald, Hipwood (Turner) IC: Clarke, Mutch (Crossley)
Spelunkers Team DEF: Jayden Short, Riley Bonner, Liam Duggan, Jack Bowes (Oscar McDonald) MID: Marcus Bontempelli, Zac Merrett, Rory Atkins, Mark Blicavs (Andrew Brayshaw) RUCK: Sam Petrevski-Seton *OOP FWD: Jack Higgins, Cale Hooker, Mitch McGovern, Bayley Fritsch (Oliver Florent) Bench: Darcy Tucker, Bailey Dale (Zachary Bailey)
Lefties as usual are crossing everything imaginable in the false hope that the selection gods allow us to field a full squad. Best we can hope for is 14.5. WHERE THE HELL IS ARCHIE SMITH!! Pretty damning when Oscar and The Recruit get a gig ahead of him. #draftfail Def - Brayshaw, Duryea, Paton, Wagner Mid - Ross, Phillips, Berry, Weller Ruck - Ainsworth Fwd - W Langford, K Langford, Simpkin, Hayward IC - Dumont, Shipley
Just in case, here's the probable side to face the Battlers, albeit I am sure @walesy will have it under control. Disappointing @JC that some of your first choice guys have forgone the chance to experience the Bulls Hit Tavern in full swing post game. D - J McGovern, M Hibberd, J McVeigh, H Morrison* (B White) M - T Mitchell, N Fyfe, D Prestia, D Howe (J Allison) R - S Jacobs F - S Menegola, T McLean, M Robinson, T Papley (M Wood) I/C - B Williams, R Burton (J Dunkley)
Meh - it happens to all of us at some stage, @graeme . Don't think it'll change the outcome, it probably just shortens your already short odds even further and makes the final margin bigger.
Cradle Mountain Devils Round 7 2018 team vs Venus Bay Vultures No change Def: M Hurley, P Seedsman, N Vlastuin, J Lever (S Gilbert) Mid: S Pendlebury, D Heppell, D Zaharakis, J Steele (J Hopper) Ruck: T Nankervis Fwd: T Lynch, T English, T Membrey, J Gresham (A McDonald-Tipungwuti) Int: D Zorko, Z Jones (J Redden) The Devils have a benchmark score that players need to reach to receive Best and fairest votes, this score is dependant on which positions they are eligible to play in. Using the 2018 average to date seven Devils reach this benchmark: Def: M Hurley & P Seedsman Mid: S Pendlebury, D Heppell & D Zaharakis Ruck: T Nankervis Fwd: T Lynch When these same benchmarks are applied to this weeks opponent (based on their Round 6 team) 12 Vultures make the grade, underlining the task CMD have ahead of themselves to remain competitive this weekend. There is always the chance that one or multiple Vultures go AWOL however.
DEFENDERS Rory Laird, Jimmy Webster, Jake Lloyd, Adam Tomlinson MIDFIELDERS Lachie Whitfield, Callan Ward, James Worpel, Matthew Kennedy RUCKS Patrick Ryder FORWARDS Tim Taranto, Devon Smith, Caleb Daniel, Joe Daniher -Ben Keays INTERCHANGE Nick Haynes, Daniel Rich
No Zac Smith tonight due to hypothermia. One day he will play for the Blimps again, and there will great celebrations, feasting and drinking. But for this week, we are again one short.
Deledio, Buddy and Greene all out hands youngster Mitch Crowden a debut in the forward line, great to have a potential rising star nominee get a game for the Vultures for the first time this year. Definitely a danger game against Cradle Mountain this week though. Hopefully we can find the form we had in the first few weeks again.
