It's easy done mate; just take out your ruck's achilles and job done . What's even more impressive for me is that last year I had a win by default due to Pearcedale's woes to be 1 & 3 after four rounds. Lost to Pearcedale this year but managed to reverse two other results.

Serious questions are being asked at Bulls HQ
The Barracudas on 1,218/15 81.2 defeated by the Smugglers on 1,290/15 86.0 Another topsy turvy performance from both the home side and @DamoH team. The Cuda’s were out the door quicker than you could say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. The visitors weren’t going to be taking it lying down, Beam’s and I Smith came in and made a significant impact taking on Burgoyne and Zorko. Both defensive leaders Lloyd and Hurn lead the way, Hurn doing just about all the heavy lifting in back. Cuda’s are still waiting for their prized recruit in Houli to out shine. Unfortunately for the local’s they bared witness to the Bearded one called “Hoff” who just destroyed the all comers, the goal square and even a pig that got lose from its pen. This guy can do it all, what a performance! It is with a tear in the eye that the Islander Cup heads its way west to be locked up with everything else over there. Questions will be asked at the bar, was it soon to bring back Lewis and Burgoyne? Did Phillips really need a rest in the seconds? And who’s going to pay for Reggie the pig? BOG J Westhoff (CIS) 147 M Bontempelli (GEB) 145 P Cripps (GEB) 143 (home team)
You can borrow a couple @tyze1 my good man. The friendly bull has always been a mate of the majestic armadillo
Ararat Armadillos 1,305 Defeat Hughenden Prairie Dogs 1,204 Despite having control for most of the match Hughenden found a way to lose this one with Ararat taking home another valuable 4 points and remain undefeated. It was all looking good for Hughenden until Gawn (168) took control of the ruck together with some kicking advice from one of the locals and was unstoppable. He provided great service to Treloar (149) who took full advantage of the tired Hughenden midfield. Both sides had contributors all day with Hughenden’s best being Yeo (94), Shiel (112), Kerridge (104), Morrison (95) and Mills (95) and for Ararat – Rich (99) and Parish (92). In the end it was the consistence of the team with 2 standout performances being the difference between the 2 sides resulting in the Ararat victory. Hughenden are on the road this week visiting the Gisborne Grenades who are coming off an away win against the Blowflys. Ararat travel to Odin’s Graveyard, in a top of the table clash against the Nuytsland Vikings. BAFFU Awards 3 Gawn, Ararat (168) 2 Treloar, Ararat (149) 1 Shiel, Hughenden (112) BigTap – Gawn (168) over Sandilands (83)
Early in the match at the Sandpit and it’s Southern Cross leading @ddsaints visiting Parasites by 178 points in Battle of the Bugs 5 SCS - 269/2/135 PAP - 91/1/91 Go Gropers!
17/30th time* at Flying Fish Cove Park and it’s the young Crocs @fresh with the lead 667/9(74.1) to the Smugglers’ 647/8(80.9). It’s a tale of two clubs with babies McGrath and Jack Martin the best so far for Cow Bay, while the old timers Hurn and Robbie Gray are carrying Xmas Island. And the crowd is certainly getting their money’s worth today, as during the breaks in the main game the Smugglers are also hosting @JPK Prospectors in the ORFF* knock-out GF. In that game the Smugglers are coincidentally 647/8(80.9) but it’s the Prospectors with the fast start leading on 789/9(87.7). *Post WCE/PA but before scaling
Deep into the match at the Sandpit and the home team are throwing everything at @ddsaints Parasites with the Sandgropers leading by 432 points. SCS - 1006/11/91 PAP - 574/6/96 Plenty to play for in this one. Go Gropers!
A further update sees Coolgardie 13/1146/88 leading Christmas Is 10/768/76.8 in the ORFF* knockout GF.
Down in Gisborne, it's the Grenades 894/11/81.27 to the Prairie Dogs' 824//10/82.4. This game promises to have a close finish, with both teams having good players left in the sheds. IF ALL PLAYERS SCORE THEIR AVERAGE FROM HERE ON THE GAME ENDS IN A DRAW!!! @Batfink
The Crocs continue to impress at Xmas Island where they hold the slenderest of leads 769/10 to 768/10. From here it is: Crocs - Witherden, Scharenberg, O.McDonald, Blakey, De Goey and one point versus Smugglers - Lever, Dusty, Dunstan, D.Beams and Lewy Taylor.
The Barracudas are sitting on 576/7 82.3 and the Bunyips @martyg are on 677/9 75.2 The home side will miss the Bont & Stanley this week, however Jack Graham will step up and Zorko will take on big Sause for the giant tap. The visitors defence is holding beautifully lead by Laird & Houston, while Stewart off the bench has been great off the bench.
@insider "Odins Graveyard" has caused another injury Sheuy 12 Hamstrung , Howe 22 having to put on a heavy tag this game is over unless injury strikes the visitors. Odins chat erupts around the ground Nuytsland 852/11/77 Ararat 557/7/79
In a game that was far closer than the final score suggests the Smugglers have beaten the Crocs 1247-1130. Full match report to come. And in a game that was even more of a flogging than the final score suggests the Prosepctors have taken out the knock-out comp 1357-1247. Congrats @JPK I believe @choppers has this one covered.
Full time at the Sandpit and the hometown Sandgropers have taken out Nugget Cup 5 by beating @ddsaints Parasites by 204 points. SCS - 1394/15/93 PAP - 1190/15/79 Match report to follow.
@insider Vikings "flat track bullies" name tag was in full swing. Two defeats in a row and another injury has left the high performance coach's scratching their heads, throw in a heart condition and a dog bite infection what next. Too many could have been's so to quote insider " you won , i lost " . 3.Mclean 146 2.Gawn 129 Big Tap Winner 1.Mitchell 127
The Barracudas finish with 1,270/15 84.7 defeating the Bunyips @martyg 1,093/15 72.9 From out of nowhere for the home side Graham & Phillips combine to take control of the centre from which Zorko the magnificent was playing for his like it would appear, sparking his own tap on several occasions. The visitors were without Langford & Sheridan from the start so it was alway going to be tough but that’s what Lambert & Stewart where in trying to stem the flow of the blood bath that was happening.
