Lefties hosting the fat, arrogant Vultures Def - Brayshaw, McKenzie, Duryea, Perryman Mid - Weller, Ross, Phillips, Berry Ruck - Ainsworth Fwd - Simpkin, Hayward, Langford 1, Langford 2 IC - Dumont, Daicos
At a guess it’s Brodie vs Macrae for the best in the comp at present. Danger, Titch. Gawn right behind them.
Nuffers 10/783 nic nat to come versus Uglies 6/460 @bama The Fuglies have 8 playing in the Crows vs Dees match and should be in front by 3 quarter time and run away with it unopposed in the last
There is a guy who does a bit of surfing - plays for Freo - who goes ok. He might be a chance to get another Brownlow in the next few years.
Yep my bad, add Fyfe to that group right behind these two. Slow start but the last 4-6 games he’s charging.
1441 with two players OOP, happy with that... now just to get a full line of forwards, easy to know what I'll be targeting in the MSD! Keen to get Greene back after the byes as well hopefully...
Cruisy game aginst sNOz in TSORFFANS. The pembro pirates with 2308 easily accounted for your mob's 2307 (including Fyfe I see). #neverindoubt
Similar story of happiness as well, though at a mark about 200 points less than the Vultures! Two OOP players gave me 36, the other 13 gave me 1220 or so. Get three guys back next week with any luck, and definitely, roll on the MSD.
Here, let me save you some time: Len's mob were very good given only 13 took the field, while the Battlers were fucking hopeless.
The four Devils forwards had a combined average of 266 entering their Round 10 game, whilst their opponents - Iron Knob’s four forwards had a combined average of 383, however in the club’s head to head game hosted by the Devils the script was flipped with Iron Knob spearhead Jack Riewoldt suffering a concussion in the opening minutes and the IKC forward line combining for just 198 led by Jack Darling with 81. The Devils forwards combined for 315 points led by small forward Jade Gresham who kicked a career best six goals and scored 121 SC points. The altering forward line fortunes was the catalyst for the Devils earning a convincing 1,303 to 988 victory to increase their winning streak and finally claw back to be just one win outside the eight, however they remain in 11th position. Several Devils players scored about 100 points against Iron Knob with five players scoring between 98 and 103 points, with another four players exceeding this range – Heppell 110, Hopper 112, Gresham 121 and Zaharakis best afield with 125. Despite having a defensive donut due to Paul Seedsman being a late withdrawal and not having an emergency defender Cradle Mountain were able to surpass 1,300 points and fell just one point short of the season-high 1,304 points they registered in Round 9. Two Iron Knob players scored tons – Jackson Macrae who is leading the ORFFA with 136 points per game score 102 whilst Jarrad Waite scored 101. The pre-season aim for the Devils was to average 1,300 points per after three sub 1,210 scores from Round 2 to Round 4 CMD have gained momentum and in their past three games have been a model of consistency, scoring in order 1,299, 1,304 and 1,303 points. Although they are 11th on the ladder their form has been better than this, ranking third (albeit a long way behind the top two) in the ORFFA for points per game with 1,245, behind Venus Bay (1,344) and the reigning premiers Cows outfit (1,313). Whilst the Devils have only risen two spots from their season low position of 13th to 11th it is a significant improvement on their position after Round 7, when they were in 13th position two games behind 11th.
