Feel free to display & discuss wares here, below is the running draft pick ownership, also the squad lists including free agents. the MSD thread itself is here http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/2018-orffa-msd-thread.90190/
The Nuffers will be looking to be active in the upcoming trade period Our current list is http://tooserious.net/forum/stats.p...=SC&salary=0&name=&up_code=&tsLeagueTeamId=35 We would be particularly keen to move on the 2018 draftees other than Dow, for 20 cents in the dollar on their draft pick position as we are keen to get 19-21 playing each week than the current 13-16. - Will Powell (GCS) PSD Pick 20 - Callum Coleman Jones (Rich) Pick 38 - Jack Petruccelle (WCE) Pick 56 - has debuted - Will Walker (NM) Pick 74 We have about 10 players who are around ORFFA first 15 standard - all are tradeable for the right deal, 5 of these (plus Varcoe) are over 30 so we would be keen to shed 1 or 2 if we can - K Simpson (not cheap), JPK, Wells (cheap), Geary (went off injured in Round 11), Dale Thomas (11 played, average 81 will move at market value), Varcoe (1% serious) A number of our other players will be cut if no offers are received - anyone with a spud fetish please enquire - Long, Grey, Frost, Sexton, Lester, Bell, Graham, Varcoe (again) We are looking to buy players who should play 18-22 games a season even if their average is not the best - Defenders averaging 60 plus (or previous history, trendline supporting likely improvement) - Forwards averaging 65 plus (ditto) - our forwards suck any deals will be considered - Mids averaging 70 plus (ditto) - a 2nd ruck might be handy but not a real priority Unless told otherwise by someone with a detailed list we think we own 2018 MSD 1, 2 and 3 and 2019 PSD 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (etc) - all are tradeable including 2018 MSD pick 4 and a 85% likely 2019 top 5 PSD pick. Pick swaps will be considered (ie 1 pick for multiple, MSD for PSD or vice versa) either as a standalone deal or with player/s attached. Hit me up ORFFAns - I am yet to make a decent trade in the ORFFF so no doubt there is some value to be had ! Cheers TTH
5 or so players that I would be happy to select with pick #1, some more than others, but its gonna be a tough decision. I had #1 pick last year too, and Hugh Greenwood was an easy decision for me then. He's doing well now too
So many good memories of wonderful MSD picks past. Shane Edwards, Ben Brown, Darcy Byrne Jones and guys like Bailey Dale, our Bomber mate Walla, and a few others who are now gracing the field for other fine ORFFA establishments. Darraweit loves this time of year perhaps more than the PSD and is again looking to be very active. I will add to this post later on with players who might be on the move or up for discussion.
In fact, I'm going to do a follow-up post! Darraweit has three first round MSD picks and is looking to make between three and five selections in the MSD. We will delist some players, we may trade some others, we may keep a whole heap of them as well. So, who's up? Brad Hill - 24 yo midfielder and reigning Freo B&F who has been out injured for a number of weeks. Likely to return after the ORFFA bye as per reports from the club. Averaged 80 last season. Averaging 65 in two games thus far this season, and will clearly be better than that. Automatic selection for the Dockers most weeks. Kieren Jack - 30 yo M/F who is, of course, an automatic selection for the Swans each week. Averages 63 from 11 games and has provided Darraweit with important back-up each week (and has filled in in the ruck as well!) Kaiden Brand - 24 yo defender who has averaged 50ppg this season. Played 13-14 games last season and averaged nearly 65ppg. One for the future as the Hawks defensive stocks age. Ed Vickers-Willis - 22 yo defender who has averaged 65ish from 7 games this season. Unfortunately, he is also injured and out for the rest of the year. Was an automatic selection in North's best 22 - and again, North's defensive stocks aren't getting any younger. He'd be a reluctant "sell" but given my defensive injuries right now, perhaps a necessary one. Joel Garner - young Port small defender who was a highly crednetialled junior and was drafted to the Power in the off-season just past. Again, willing to trade but would need to be a good deal. Jack Newnes - 25yo Saints M, has averaged 80+ the last four seasons, 85 last season and near 90 the two before that. This year he is down on form but has also been forced out of two games early due to head knocks. Average of 68 on the season probably closer to 75 in reality. Again, willing to trade but comfortably more likely to retain - a good deal would be required given his age and exposed form over the journey and likelihood of being a M/F in 2019. What am I after? 2018-19 PSD picks would be nice, but I am also happy to discuss pick swaps in the MSD or PSD which would allow the trade of a player - I trade up in the MSD or PSD, for example. A couple of the guys above aren't world beaters. But they are solid first 22 players who will be on the park every week and will fill one of the on-field doughnuts a number of teams are experiencing. And if one of the guys above is traded, I'd end up more likely to keep others of similar age and ability (I'm not trading out 3 mids, for example) First in best dressed. If you are interested, put offers to me and I'll let you know if I am interested. I'm not staging auctions for these guys and I'll be online till Friday (away from Friday night and all long weekend and pretty much off the grid). Oh, and one final thing - the offer of a first round PSD pick in next year's stacked draft for a ruckman remains in play. Any interest, drop a line.
So these are Misfits; Def James Aish, Rory Laird, Daniel Rich, Zachary Williams, Adam Tomlinson, Nick Haynes, Jimmy Webster, Jake Lloyd Mid Tim Taranto (MF), Caleb Daniel (MF), Marc Murphy, Matthew Kennedy, Stefan Giro, Josh Kelly, Lachie Whitfield, Callan Ward, James Worpel Fwd Ben Keays, Jamie Elliott, Devon Smith, Orazio Fantasia, Joe Daniher, Oscar Allen, Daniel Venables, Gryan Miers Rucks Matt Flynn, Patrick Ryder, Billy Longer Defence is potentially league best, without playing our best defender this year Mids are as solid as any squad, and with years left in almost every leg Fwds are patchy and could use a little work Rucks are essentially one out with Ryder, Flynn is untradeable, Longer is an enigma Realistically whilst all are on the the table we don't see a trade out for any other than Longer or Elliott. If you'd like to chance your arm on either PSD trade picks are what I am after, otherwise we simply plan to redraft our delists.
The Goon squad is feeling pretty tired after a flogging in the first half of the season. A few kids (and an oldish dog or two) are seeking new homes. Availables: Duryea D/F W Langford F/M Knight F Broomhead M Toumpas M Wagner D Looking for PSD picks of any flavour
The Cows list is mostly ok; we will de-list two, possibly three, heifers. You all know the drill by now - pm me if you want to trade out a quality player for not much in return.
After much talk at the Lilacs, we believe that we have picked at least 2 that we will be saying good bye too. As most of you know I am not the world's biggest trader on here but if I have a player that you may be interested in, get in touch and we can see. Buuut, if they are named Duncan, Heeney, Sinclair, Westhoff, Stewart, Jonas, Wright, Tyson and Lang, you may as well not ask because I doubt that there isn't a price high enough for me to hand them over to another team. While Bolton, Trengrove & Lipinski are trade able, they wont come cheap. I believe Chris has already said that we will be away from Friday, so if you send me something over the weekend and I don't respond this is why, we will have very limited internet. Which we are both looking forward to.
How many are we allowed to delist? I am carrying a plethora of dead wood right now which id love to cut loose.
Trade me your least dead ones for really crap draft picks, and then delist the rest, (may or may not be official policy)
I have surplus needs in my mids, would like a decent forward or defender. Shiels, Ellis-Yolmen and Cunnington are the most gettable of said mids. Or I can just hope that Danger plays out of the goal square for the rest of the year and I can play him as a forward next year. In that case, bring on 2019 (hopefully the re-hatching of the Chooks)
Cradle Mountain are clearly deficient in the forward line and improving this line will be the main priority of the club during the 2018 mid-season period. The Devils plan to select at least one forward at the MSD but will also look at trading a forward in. Injuries to Zaharakis and Lever on the weekend have reduced CMD’s playing options in the midfield and defense, making it more difficult to facilitate a player for player trade and the main currency on offer is draft picks, of either the PSD or MSD variety, or possibly a package deal including both. Even though the Devils are unlikely to make the finals in 2018 they are pushing on with operation Zorklebury in an ambitious and possibly unrealistic attempt to win a premiership whilst Pendlebury and Zorko are still playing, the duo are both contracted until the end of 2020, however the club is hopeful to get them to play on beyond this. Cradle Mountain are looking to trade in a forward who has at least three years left in their career.
If any of these guys take your fancy then offer me a packet of smarties and we have a deal. Pearce Hanley Cameron Sutcliffe Taylor Garner Koby Stevens Nathan Vardy
Update: With Brad Hill and Joel Garner traded out, Jack Newnes will be remaining with Darraweit. Kieren Jack, Kaiden Brand and EVW are still on the trade block/in danger of being delisted. Am considering one other player but unlikely that all of them will go. However if someone wants one of the trio above, drop a line. I wouldn't be after the world for any of them.
