Cutoff was 20:00 Melbourne time. The Barracudas missed that by about 40 minutes. The Bunyips missed that by about an hour. We had 16 days to arrange delistments, and there was a giant flurry in the last few minutes (comparatively speaking). I'm not sure if we should allow this or not. We have cutoffs for a reason, and we've been pretty strict on them in the past. But nothing has been effected by your tardiness. Can we get some thumbs, please? TU for permit the delists, TD for cutoffs are cutoffs.
Not that I have any say or authority, but doesn’t seem to hurt anyone by allowing a few tardy listings Commish?
It clearly hurts anyone who has a pick after the coaches who’ve missed the deadline - there will be 2 less players to choose from in the free agent pool if it’s allowed. This makes it highly possible that they could select a player you would’ve otherwise wanted to add to your squad. No issue with @YAD69 or @martyg but we can’t choose to enforce deadlines in some situations and not others - eg. auctions, weekly teams, previous delistments, etc.
That was always my first thought. Rules are rules and time limits are set for a reason. Matt Ling remains a Barracuda and Reilly O'Brien remains a Bunyip.
Ah all good by me peeps... He just got a long term injury/surgery so he is out for the season, hence my late decision
