McDonald isn't quite at peak price, as he's projected to rise in value for next 2 weeks still (SC has his breakeven at 48).

If he was topping out right now I wouldn't be looking at him, but what I am thinking is that if he averages 105 the rest of the way then he's worth having, and getting him now is cheaper than any time in the next 4 weeks.

More important to have Yeo over McDonald then?

      Do I go
      Coffield to MIhocek
      Doedee to McDonald/Yeo/Simpson
      Holman to Ahern
      OR
      Coffield to Ahern via DPP
      Doedee to McDonald/Yeo/Simpson
      Macrae to Wines (or Oliver/Danger/Kelly/Ward)

Either leaves me with 9 trades.
First option means I don't lose $ on Holman and I gain on Mihocek, but I'd need to use another trade to realise the $ gain from Mihocek.
Second option gives me more points on field, replaces Macrae and I'm looking at Wines as a top 8 mid who is currently cheaper than he should be.

      Laird / Hurley / Savage
      Lloyd / Doedee / Richards // Coffield / Keeffe

      Macrae / Fyfe / TMitchell / Martin
      Cripps / ZMerrett / Rocklifff / Brayshaw // Phillips / Holman / Higgins

      Gawn / NicNat // English

      Heeney / Gray / Westhoff
      Sicily / Boak / Fritsch // TSmith / Giles-Langdon

TU/TD - is everyone who hasn't already traded in Ahern planning to trade him in this week if named ?

      Defensive rookies question
      - Is anyone planning to trade in Redman (d only) who plays his 2nd game this week over Mihocek and Taylor (both D only, but each playing their 3rd game) if all 3 are named ?
      - For those willing to invest more coin (ie $150k and above) in their rookies how do they reckon J Smith (also 2nd game, dm) stacks up against those 3 mentioned above ?

      Cheers TTH

Between byes, injuries (which I could do without), which rookie to trade in which to give the elbow to, how many players on field, jeez I'll be glad when this round is over. starting to do my head in.

Yeah I'm liking the look of Redman and will be downgrading to him this week so I can upgrade Higgins to get Josh Kelly

      3 trades done.
Got 19 on field so I'm hoping for 1900 this week.

Tim Smith in gives me 17 players before trades. I am planning on Scheer/Barry/Crowden to Ahern to reach 18.

I reckon I will wait a week to see which of Redman and J Smith is the better buy next round and look to upgrade Holman in either Round 16 or 17.

With the talk this week about Bont being injured I reckon Kelly as long as you reckon he is over his early season groin issue. Oliver and Treloar are around the same price (assuming you already have Mitchell and Cripps).

Honestly I'm considering going Wines - scores better in 2nd half of season, good side pushing for finals, I think he's a good chance to average same as Kelly/Bont. I worry about Oliver - I mean he's good but I think the Dees are gonna bottle it so not sure if his scoring will dip.

3 trades will get me 20 on field this week i am sold on Brayshaw - Ahern. Now i do need at least one more trade as i have Macrae options are Oliver, J.Kelly or Treloar (much of a muchness in price) and was going to punt L.Murphy for T.McDonald. A side note can wait a week on the Mcdonald one and instead grab Lloyd/L.Ryan. Looking for some options will have to be a two post poll.

      Option 1 - Macrae- J.Kelly
      Option 2 - Macrae - Treloar
      Option 3 - Macrae - Oliver
      Option 4 - Macrae - Wines
      • Option 1 Option 1 x 4
      • Option 3 Option 3 x 1

      Option 1 - Murphy - McDonald
Option 2 - Murphy - Lloyd (next week)
      Option 3 - Murphy - L.Ryan (next week)
      • Option 2 Option 2 x 3
      • Option 3 Option 3 x 2
