Just back from quite a long lunch, not much is making sense so reckon will just leave it is is it waas this morning. Good luck Banditto. No debuts, no rising star, just at terrific team building moment last week when Daisy tried to belt some pie who previously had got in Nat's way thereby ending his Brownlow bid. Well worth the week out was the consensus.
Our guys have enjoyed the mid-season break and are now relishing the opportunity to get back out on the field in the ORFFA. We’re currently on 1079 from 10. A good start that we’re hoping to finish off well tomorrow.
Holy snappin-a$$holes Margaret! The Lefties have cracked 4 figures and snatched a win! Props to Weller for actually doing something half decent for once and to Beastmode for giving us a semblance of a warm body in the ruck against the Beard. Truly season-defining stuff.
Cruel game at times - you would've flogged me with that score and yet I find myself on the winners list.
1458 with an OOP 22 and Nyhuis 30.... if only I knew how to keep my forwards injury free! Heres hoping Jack Watts can crack the 22 again and Greene gets fitter sooner rather than later!
A decent crowd of 500 turned up at the Nuffers first home game at the new digs and @dmandrews side took the honours as expected. Despite the loss the Nuffers effort to scrape together 1230 was solid given Conca managed only 5 before being carried off with what was thought to have been a season ending injury.
Haha not wrong but still scored well and have draft picks intact, got unlucky Lecras was injuredand I loopholed Nyhuis over Jack so was my own doing, I'll be alright... until I inevitably choke in finals that is
Negatives: Crap games from many who know better, late withdrawal from Gunston and no proper ruckman again. Positives: Score nearly 1200, win a game, Anderson gets a run (which means drafting him as a forward has paid an immediate dividend), Astbury as an emergency for Redman, Shed Edwards is great and both Cogs and Lyons scoring well. Much improvement possible. Review will be done in the next day or two.
