With the game almost over Macquarie Island are on a solid 1239/13 (95.3) against the Glow worms @ViQBoZ 968/12 (80.7). Tomorrow Hoskin-Elliot & Naitanui square off against Scharenberg, Saad & Miller while everyone else enjoys the hospitality of the communal mess and celebrates a warm 6 degree day close to the antarctic circle.

The visting 29ers lead 11/1069 to the Atoms 11/961 @Brett Sanders in the battle of 2nd and 5th.

The home side have Goldstein, Redden, P Davis and Coniglio running out on Sunday while Black Swamp have Higgins, SDT, Deboer, and DeGoey still to play.

The coach may have made some costly moves with motlops 132 and Trengoves 99 stuck on the bench.

Trengove's 99 will come in to cover the late withdrawal of Orazio.

Noahs undeservedly steal a 4 point cliffhanger. Saved by a Gawn monster and a massively underwhelming Mitchell.

Some big scores this week with many flexing their muscle as the H&A season nears and end.
Our run about to be stomped as we face a red hot Atoms next week.

3 sides (Woylies, 29ers and Atoms) set their best ever score this week @Brett Sanders - it was a pity your mob had the great misfortune to lose in the process and smash the record for highest ever losing score in 354 ORFFF matches to date by 20 points. Our match also broke the record for highest aggregate score in ORFFF history by 20 points and if not for some late game injuries the sides might even have reached 3000 between them.

3 teams are now certainties to play finals and 2 teams are now certainties to miss out and those numbers will grow quickly as we come to the pointy end of the home and away season. Following their narrow win over the Boozers the Noahs are 3 wins and around 500 points clear of 5th with 3 roster games left so will be playing with little risk of slipping out of the top 4 as they take on teams just below them in the final weeks of the regular season.

1563 to the Woylies (almost doubling their greatest ever winning margin in the process) shows they are in the frame - particularly if they can nudge their way back into the top 4 in the remaining 3 rounds. Meanwhile the Avengers appear to be a possibility of Bradburying their way into the finals in a manner reminiscent of Mole Creek in the inaugural 2016 season if other results fall their way on the run home.
