The Ivanhoe Knightriders Coach Len during last year’s membership drive, impressive specimen that. The 200 odd citizen's of Ivanhoe are fiercely devoted to their footy team, having finally been admitted into the ORFFL at the start of the 2017 season after years of lobbying there is a huge expectation surrounding the team's prospects. But; Unfortunately not one single prick within 200 kilometres can actually play List Management is handled by the town jester, a drunk who can't count past 27. The Official CheerSsquad leader in full voice The local ground has 4 sticks at each end and something not very grassy in between The pubs not pretty but the beer is cold The team has been systematically gutted of older players who won't be there for our flag tilt, or would be on Zimmerman frames for it, all focus has been on bringing in youth with promise and skill. The current squad looks like this; Player Age Defenders Logan Austin 23, Griffin Logue 20, Sam Mayes 24, Andrew McPherson 19, Daniel McStay 23, Lachlan Plowman 23, Sam Taylor 19 Midfielders Blake Acres M/F 22, Paul Ahern M/F 21, Darcy Fogarty M/F 18, Nicholas Graham M/F 24, Kyle Langford M/F 21, Wayne Milera M/F 20, Will Setterfield M/F 20, Jaidyn Stephenson M/F 19 Jacob Allison 20, Brayden Fiorini 20, Tom Liberatore 26, David Swallow 25, Adam Treloar 25 Forwards Blake Acres M/F 22, Paul Ahern M/F 21, Darcy Fogarty M/F 18, Nicholas Graham M/F 24, Kyle Langford M/F 21, Wayne Milera M/F 20, Will Setterfield M/F 20, Jaidyn Stephenson M/F 19 Jack Billings 22, Tom Lynch 25, Esava Ratugolea 19.95, Taylor Walker 28 Rucks Archie Smith RF 22, Nathan VARDY 27 Expecting plenty of positional changes, anticipating may be a better word for next year and beyond. I know it’s not the norm in FL for anyone to maintain a team page, call me a revolutionary, or just awesome, idgaf either way Coaches round votes to follow

Round 13, another loss, with 4 more to come in a rebuild season, the Glamas too good 1032 to 757 Votes 3 Austin (86) 2 Billings (77) 1 Langford (74) ======================== Tally after 12 rounds: 24 Treloar 13 Swallow 9 Acres 5 Billings 4 Graham, Langford 3 Lynch, Milera, Stephenson, Austin 2 Fiorini, Plowman, Walker 1 Mayes
I would suggest replacing " the Glamas too good 1032 to 757" with " the glamas less crap 1032 to 757." glamas with a lower case g was part of our marketing strategy of going below the radar prior to finals. That has been a massive failure, new slogan might be "average early, poor late" - akin to a depressing weather forecast.
Round 14, 9 players onfield, 10 LTIs, admittedly a couple traded in that way as they should be cheap gets for next year, onward and downward this year though. Yet to come up with a long term name for this award, but for this year I think we will go with "The Least Shit Knight" Votes 3 Billings (125) 2 Langford (121) 1 Milera (92) ======================== Tally after 14 rounds: 24 Treloar 13 Swallow 9 Acres 8 Billings 6 Langford 4 Graham, Milera 3 Lynch, Stephenson, Austin 2 Fiorini, Plowman, Walker 1 Mayes
Why couldn't I have played your team when I got one of my mid-range scores... waste of a 1300+ score given we don't care about percentage in the ORFFL.
Mate you got us at a good time, two late outs cost us a 750 score Seriously though, the main purpose of this thread is to track the rebuild and rise of the Knights who say whatever the hell they like, one day we will get to wear long pants and use a pen
Fair enough. You got me when I actually had a playing ruckman. That doesn't appear to be the case going forward for Poowong however. Langford seems to have turned a corner more recently. He is a local from my suburb here in Viewbank so I follow his career with a bit of interest. Has certainly been a slow burn for SC to this point.
Really feel for McKernan, guy just keeps putting in and keeps getting smacked in the mouth by "lady" luck.. Was delighted to be able to trade him in, all signs from last year pointed to him being comfortably best 22 this year, I used to be frequently prone to picking good footballers at the expense of good SC scorers, hopefully got the call right on him. Not as guilty these days but they are easier to avoid when you are chasing older players than the younger ones I am still hunting.
