    Round 16 Date 27.07.2018 – AFL Round 19
    THEME: Muso Round
Each team can nominate the Australian (or Kiwi) muso or group they groove to and that inspires them; and hopefully have them perform for pre-match or half time entertainment.

Gundagai Grasshoppers v Wagga Wagga Wombats
Larrikin Lagoon Lefties v Foul Bay Chickens
Gariwerd Cockatoos v Darraweit Guim Dirigibles
    Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles v Nunawading Nuffers
Venus Bay Vultures v Birdsville Battlers
Wineglass Bay Packers v Cradle Mountain Devils
Charlies Opening Spelunkers v Lovely Banks Lilacs
Whitsunday Warriors v Iron Knob Codpieces
Mount Beauty Uglies v Marble Bar Misfits

Be at it, to your chosen rhythms :)

As the Hoppers limp towards the finish line, its all hands on deck & the kids fill the bench spots.

Under Trumpster this is foreboding - but we need a rev up: US Forces, Midnight Oil..........

    IN: Stringer
    OUT: Sier (inj)

DEF: JKolo - Shaz - Weit - Hardwick (Coffield*)
MID: Cripps - Adams - ECurnow - Neale (Walker*)
    RCK: Grundy
FWD: Stringer - CCurnow - Billings - Milera (Powell*)
    I/C: McClugg - Rayner (Cox)

The Nuffers are unchanged giving the side an opportunity to atone for a somewhat embarassing effort last time out, however we head across the dutch expecting to get given a lesson by our kiwi colleagues @graeme

Hope you enjoy your first trip to Cows' Country TTH. The only lesson we will be handing out is a lesson in hospitality; the attractions at the Bulls Hit Tavern have kept many a manager from travelling up the road to see the game at the magnificent Waikikamoocow Showgrounds. Corned silverside sarnies and some decent Martinborough pinot noir will be available in the home teams' changing room after the game. Likely Cows line up:
    D - J McGovern, D Gardiner, R Burton, H Morrison
    M - T Mitchell, D Prestia, D Thomas, T McLean
    R - S Jacobs
    F - S Menegola, J Dunkley, M Robinson, T Papley
    I - N Newman, M Wood
Our sole E is B Parfitt (F/M) and we are undecided which line he will be on; perhaps D with Harry M on the extended bench?

Oh forgot to mention, with Neil Finn recently joining Fleetwood Mac we see them as a kiwi band. They will be doing guest spots all weekend long; this is exciting as many of the original band (well those who are still compus) responsible for the great music such as "Albatross", Man of the World", Oh Well Parts 1 and 2" are here for some reunion gigs. Yous truely is billeting Christine Perfect - who cares about the footy!

Spelunkers team for the draft deciding game against the Lilacs.

In a rare feat, we can name a full team with four emergencies.

The Bont is back, Aaron Francis gets a hit out finally, and a forward line of Fritsch, Higgins, Francis and Florent could be a sign of the Spelunkers future forward line. Sean Darcy going in as starting ruck for the Dockers has me salivating too.

It won't be next year, but the rumblings out of the cave are starting to get louder... average age of the starting 15 is 22.77. If you remove Hooker, Blitz and Ceglar (who will all be lucky to still be there next season) and it goes to just over 21.

Given we are building a dynasty... KISS will be pre-game entertainment... it was either that or Blake and Crystle Carrington

Very droll Banditto, very droll. What I do know is that since I saw the original band in the early 70's i've been been in over my head and hope it don't stop. Yes, I really am a sad old git. o_O

Oh... so you have chosen to be a Gypsy, break from the Chains and Go Your Own Way?

I've seen them twice myself, and have The Dance DVD sitting in the catalogue at home.

Cradle Mountain Devils Round 16 2018 team vs Wineglass Bay Packers

    In: H Himmelberg
    Out: B Cox (omitted)

    Def: M Hurley, N Vlastuin, P Seedsman, H Himmelberg (B Cox)
    Mid: S Pendlebury, D Heppell , D Zorko, J Redden (J Hopper)
    Ruck: T Nankervis
    Fwd: T Lynch, J Gresham, T Membrey, A McDonald-Tipungwuti (D Menzel)
    Int: D Zaharakis , J Steele (Z Jones)

Nearing the end of the season the Devils are close to full strength with Jake Lever being the only member of the CMD best 15 that is unavailable. With Lever out the Devils have rotated several players through the D4 spot and make another change in this position with Harrison Himmelberg replacing Brennan Cox.

    Back to the regular 14.5.

Great to see Dawson on the park!

Def - Brayshaw, Cole, McKenzie, O'Riordan
Mid - Ross, Phillips, Berry, Worpel
    Ruck - Weller
Fwd - Simpkin, Hayward, Dawson, Langford
    IC - Dumont, Matho

Aussie icons, The Whitlams have been lured to the Goon following an impromptu music scouting sojourn a few months back. These guys rocked the Gov and will definitely scare the bacon off the local wallowing inhabitants.
    No doubt we'll make hamburgers!

The Vultures certainly aren't looking as scary as they were 2 weeks ago!
