Oh, I see what you mean. I was thinking in terms of the knockout finals as opposed to the round robin to which I think you are referring. I agree we are in quite a good spot for a piece of silverware. It does require us to win two of the the last three games to be certain.
After winning 7 of the last 8 the Bullfrogs push for the flag continues with a HUGE game coming up this weekend. 6 v 12 on the ladder wouldn't normally get you so excited but the Quolls have also won their last 4 making this an epic clash. In a case of what could have been, the selection committee is ruing some bad choices made in the early few rounds that left the club reeling with a 2-5 start. Hopefully we have done enough to get into the finals.
glama management will be taking notes on the performances of teams who might finish in the lower reaches of the eight.
Potoroos are hoping to replace the Disappointments in the lower part of the 8 after next weekend. Since the bye, our lowest score is 1298 and our average score is 1325.
If the Rd6 scores are still doubled we will have to work it out manually who will have made the 8 considering it is likely we will have multiple teams tied on points.
Don't think this is a problem @port_leschenault - manually checked the glamas points change from rounds 5 to 6 and 6 to 7. There was no double count. Perhaps it was just another case of @walesy fixing a problem and not reporting his continuing graft in making sure TS is the best AFL fansite?
ah yes, that got fixed There is nothing happening behind the curtain. Ignore the guy pulling the levers.
Some handy ins for the Pigs this week for the big clash against the Magicians. Special welcome back to Harris Andrews after his 'incident' with Cameron.
Lucky Pigs, Magicians seem to be losing a player a week and at this rate won't have a full team in finals! Hopefully Doedee hasn't lost his rising star guarantee off last week and this week.
Last round and we have in the end just one finals spot to play for and three teams in the running. Mt.Buggery just need to win. Destiny in their own hands. Dajarra aren't close on points so rely on themselves winning a shootout against the Gunslingers and Mt.Buggery losing, Woy Woy have the points but a game behind means if they can win their quasi-elimination final against MBD they're also relying on Glenrowan to knock off the Dragons. Bronze statue to Doobs in the centre of town if it happens. Jackrabbits even if they win are going to finish behind either WOY or MBD s they're out.
Now, I'm not saying *wink* you should *winkwink* throw the match *wink*. Buuuut, *wink**wink**wink**wink**wink**wink*
Stanley late out hurts Dajarra but Doobs didn't sub out ZJones so 14 v 14 in that pivotal matchup. After Selwood's 159, MBD's 14 players need to scale a Kosciuszko-style mountain than their usual home location.
Not sure yet port - when is the deadline? An off the ball incident in Perth yesterday has me hesitating ....
