    Auction rules:
    1. All players or picks to be auctioned should be listed with a closing day/time.
    2. All players or picks being auctioned cannot be pulled before that day/time.
    3. No asset being auctioned should be the subject of private trade negotiations nor used as part of a bid in another auction, until the auction of the asset has reached it's conclusion/closing time, with or without a sale.
    4. Stating a reserve, or a preferred return type for the auctioned asset is voluntary.
    5. The reserve is not reached on any asset until the seller says so.
    6. Once a reserve has been reached the seller has the option to adjust the auction length, but to no less than 48 hours, or the end of the trade period, whichever is the lesser.
    7. As soon as practical after receiving multiple bids on an asset the seller should indicate whom is in front, any reasoning is optional.
    8. All auctions are final and irreversible unless via subsequent mutually agreed trade.
    9. Once a bid is tabled the bid is live until rejected OR deemed beaten by the person conducting the auction, it cannot be materially altered once tabled.
    10. No bid can be conditional on outcomes not directly related to the auction at hand.

    Cannot find an auction thread so will start here. This is difficult because it involves one of my favourite players. St Kilda have shown real faith in Dan Hannebery - apparently offering a five year deal, when his Swans' contract is for three more years. The Saints have undertaken a rigorous medical appraiasal. Dan's career to date (note excludes finals' appearances):

    Year Games Average
    2009 7 46.1
    2010 19 83.4
    2011 22 84.2
    2012 22 82.1
    2013 21 95.3
    2014 16 101.0
    2015 22 114.5
    2016 22 113.4
    2017 21 97.3
    2018 14 60.1

    This deal is for those who see late 2017 and 2018 as out of kilter - he has been an elite mid, three times AA. He may well be again. If you have faith in the Saints set-up you will nod your head. We know this will not appeal to all ORFFA teams. How does he see the Saints? Quotes are from afl.com not waikick.com:
    "They're not as bad as people think," he said. "They pushed Richmond all the way at the MCG late in the fourth quarter, and also beat Melbourne who are premiership favourites. You can't tell me that team is no good when they are doing that to really good sides. They've got a great young list. Tim Membrey, Jade Gresham, Jack Steven – they're bona fide stars. Seb Ross has announced himself as an All Australian-type player this year, and they've got a number of other players that are developing. Hunter Clark is another one who's going to be an absolute star. I've done my homework. "

    "I think the time was right for me to come down, see family and friends, have a fresh start," he said. "Both parties probably think it's the right call. My body is feeling great … but you never know what's going to happen two or three years down the track, it's a combat sport. The carrot of an extra two years played a major factor."

    So, make me an offer - it needs to be a draft pick. Elite mids don't come up often. The cows have Titch, Fyfe, Prestia, McLean, Menegola, Dunkley and other vying for midfield spots. Hence Dan is available. Check out all the numbers then pm me.

    All auction bids are to be made here, unless this was just an elaborate trade table gesture?

    @graeme
    With the AFL deal struck this morning St Kilda get Hannebery and 2018 Pick 28 for 2018 Pick 39 and St Kildas future 2nd rounder (ie pick 19-36), ie due to the 11 pick upgrade this year they are paying equivalent of a mid 2nd / early 3rd for Hanners depending on where they finish in 2019

    Clearly this is impacted by his contract so isn’t directly relevant for ORFFA as a non salary capped competition however in the absence of other bids the Nuffers will kick things off with a bid of 2019 PSD pick 22.

    Reluctantly, I'll probably regret this for a long time, declare that the reserve has been met. @TheTassieHawk is the clubhouse leader for Dan with a bid if pick 22 in the 2019 PSD. The auction will remain open until 9pm AEST on October 19, 2018.

    Dan Hannebery leaves the Cows and moves to the Nareewillock Nuffers. Congrats TTH.
    The Nareewillock Nuffers pick 22 in the 2019 PSD moves to Waikick.
    Thanks TTH.

    Going to put up two guys for two auctions in the one post - this is not a package deal.
    Both auctions to last two weeks - Midday NYC time Friday Nov 2nd - that's probs 2am that Friday night Melbs time.

    I am only looking for draft picks or swaps thereof.........

    Nakia Cockatoo - Geelong
    Pick #10 in the 2014 ND. 21 years old, 34 games. FWD.
    IF he can get his body right, kid is a superstar! The definition of huge upside.......with big risk!

    2015 = 11@32
    2016 = 10@63
    2017 = 10@53
    2018 = 2@39

    Todd Marshall - Port Adelaide
    Pick #16 in the 2016 ND. 20 years old, 10 games. FWD.
    Personally I think he will be a star of the game in 2-3 seasons - I just cant wait, too many other projects.

    2017 = 2@50
    2018 = 7@58

    Nice try at an opening salvo, but I dare say he is worth more than a 4th round pick based on upside alone.

    PASS :)
