Seeing as how people won’t let me not be commish, my golden rule is thus:

Let’s make this work, however we can.

    My 2c.

In the past we have been stricter with the rules around delisting etc, and it caused some significant drama including a coach quitting the ORFFL and a whole bunch of additional logistics in keeping things running. I gather that now the general consensus is to try and accommodate people where we can and keep everyone happy as much as possible without significantly effecting the competition as a whole. Yes that means being inconsistent at times, but if it doesn't seriously disrupt things then I personally like this approach. I'd much rather be involved in a competition where everyone is invested and enjoying it, and if that means delaying the start of the draft for a couple days and then having to go back to being stricter to ensure it gets done in time then so be it.

As one of the coaches involved in the trade while waiting for the last delistments I'll also add that I think that is the first time that has happened here, and my thinking was that since we were waiting anyway and the trade didn't negatively effect anyone else in the slightest, why not? I made sure to post about it several times to make sure that everyone else was ok with it and would have happily reverted to status quo if there was a problem.

Hey Guys, I am going to need an extension of time as I am flat out this morning at work. Can I have to 12pm today to make my pick if possible? If not, I will accept the autodraft selection.

If I remember right the 12 hour deadline isn't active between midnight and 6am aedt so you should right for midday anyway by my count.

Got some time on the train to check out the list of availabilities, and have no real idea. But need a fwd, so let's lock in Jack Petrucelle.

Is that because of the white powder thing, I imagine he’d fit right in with the rest of the Savages@4nsy ???

Alright well I'm out and neglected to bring my picks, but I remember having this guy on there somewhere so hopefully not too low.

I was looking at Ned. Apparently he’s a character, a bit like Jack Higgins
