Cradle Mountain’s team for the first game of 2019 includes 12 players from last years losing Grand Final side against the Marble Bar Misfits, with the three players going out of the side being Tim Membrey who is an emergency, Paul Seedsman who has shifted from defense to the midfield and is on the sidelines with a finger injury and AMT who was involved in a trade with Iron Knob that resulted in the Devils acquiring Luke Breust who makes his Devils debut at F1. The other two CMD inclusions from last year’s Grand Final team are Zak Jones who has swapped places with Seedsman, going from the midfield to defense and Dale Thomas who was selected with pick 61 at the pre-season draft and becomes the second player to return to the Devils along with Membrey. After playing as a defender in 2018 Harrison Himmelberg has been shifted to the forward line in 2019 and got the nod to be the F4 in the season opener.
The Misfits round 1 team has a very different look. Ward, Kelly, Haynes and Ryder all MIA.
