After an early protest was lodged, and summarily dismissed, against 4 match reports in the first 5 weeks, Armadillo management has the following time-constrained effort:
The question on everyones minds is will this match report be worth the wait? The unequivocal answer is no.

    AA 1252 vs NV 1324
The visitors had no less than 7 players eclipse their early season, and some career, averages which set them up for a victory. Heeney peeled off a 130 from one leg and mr two-first-names sebastian ross bettered that by 3.
Greene not coming up and a dodgy Interchange bench didnt do much to harm the Vikings with Grundy dominating his way to a 160.

The home side stayed true to their philosophy of it's not the size but how you use it. Wait, no, that's the private mantra. Publicly i believe it's how many of us can do bugger all and let a few carry us. Hmmm that doesnt seem right either. Regardless, you're not going to be victorious with 7 players scoring < 70-odd. The peoples beard tried valiantly to rediscover some form and eked out 113, but some match committee knob played two rucks in a nefarious attempt to derail the noble Armadillos.... They succeeded.

Match report from Pakenham rnd 4

In another instalment of the famous “Battle of the Bugs” the Parasites and Sandgropers went at it in a hard fought match. The home fans were treated to a much improved effort from Pakenham who really took it to the visiting Southern Cross.
A close dour match where scores weren’t flattering but the contest a winner seen the favourite coming in take the win. Southern Cross 1179 defeat Pakenham 1140
A strong unit are the Sandgropers lead well by Mumford 111 ......pardon?? Haha The big Mummy was the only visitor to raise the bat with a ton a great effort by him. The rest of the team held strong with solid scores from most others Hurley 94 Darling 90 Duncan 87 and Milera 86 the other highlights.
Unfortunately for the home team they just couldn’t get over the line, some good scoring from Marshall 119, Newnes 114, Sidebum 108 and Gaff 104 but it just wasn’t enough. Some slip ups from the jnrs didn’t help but we only get better from the experience. Bellchambers 39 and Hogan 50 are the players we are blaming, so a big week on the track for those 2. Not happy

Big tap Ryder 77 defeats Bellchambers 39

    BOG. 3, Marshall. 2, Newnes. 1, Mummy

Early doors at Flying Fish Cove Park:

    Smugglers (Beams) - 101
    Gropers (Roughead) - 38

Unfortunately for @eagle_eyed Stephenson has pumped out a 105 in the warm-up match rather than the real thing.

Just wanted to raise the loophole issue as a couple of coaches have mentioned it to me this round. I’m not sure how I’m loopholing when I named my full side before teams were announced and actually named the only 19 guys I had playing (actually 18 when you consider Kennedy). It’s the same side I named last week except Fyfe is back in and Stringer moved to I/C emergency. I don’t and didn’t intend on changing my side as I’m 500kms from home camping with the family (actually just in a town now and that’s why I can post this). If people think I’m cheating I’ll wear the donut but seeing as I haven’t named a non-named player between the Thursday & Friday lockouts I would have thought my team is legit and should be treated as such.

I’ll leave any decisions to the herd.

As EE’s opponent this week I’m happy for Stephenson’s score to count. I don’t think he’s loopholing.

I'm pretty sure that's why we nominate emergencies......in case there's a late out. I'm now hoping Sam Reid (Syd) is a late out so I can grab Sam Gray's 127. Does anyone have Horse's phone number?

14/30th time sees the Smugglers with a slight lead:

    CIS: 612/8 (76.5)
    SCS: 427/6 (71.2)

Not the conditions for power forwards, with the Smugglers’ JJK’s 24 being “bettered” by Groper Darling’s 9!

At the latest break at The Stadium, Cow Bay have so far produced very consistent football with 4 of their 5 players (Witherden McKenna McGrath and deGoey) all scoring in the 90's, while Banchang are the very opposite with Cunnington (101) tonning up and leading defender Jonas only scoring 57, while Gray gets 127 playing in the 2nds.
Cow Bay lead Banchang 5/441/88.2 to 5/387/77.4.

    @bryzza

It's a case of slow and steady for the Vikings as they currently trail but are setting themselves up for a late assault down in The Crater of Serengeti.

    Serengeti 521/74/7 lead Nuytsland 192/96/2

    Breaking news from The Stadium:
2 of Cow Bays talls (McCarthy and Ceglar) have come down with Banchang Belly and will take no further part in this weekend's game, leaving Cow Bay one man short.

    Update from The Stadium:

Banchang have fought back strongly in the last stanza and have reduced Cow Bay's lead to just 27, with The Crocs in front 10/834 to 10/807.
A hard running display on the wing by Langdon (133) and young Dawson (104) off the interchange, in just his 9th game of League footy, did the damage for the Barcrawlers, while Acres (103), playing a lone hand off the Croc's interchange, tried to stem the flow.
In an uninspiring ruck clash, Lycett (CBC) def Sinclair (BB) 75-67.
The next stage in play sees Hanley, Greenwood and Sexton for the locals take on Libba and Jack Martin for the Visitors.
I sense this one is going down to the wire.
