OK Folks, time to start to stoke the fire back up on this one. It's time for the Mighty Vic/Tas to go back to back. In three weeks time we will start the bye rounds, which means State of Origin gets a run. So with that in mind, let's open the discussion: Teams making up the sides: The Vic/Tas teams consists of players from the following sides: Charlie's Opening Spelunkers Cradle Mountain Devils Gariwerd Cockatoos Lovely Banks Lilacs Mount Beauty Uglies Nareewillock Nuffers Nowhere Else Wanderers Venus Bay Vultures Wineglass Bay Packers The Rest/Stench/Others are comprised of: Birdsville Battlers Foul Bay Cheaters Chickens Gundagai Grasshoppers Iron Knob Codpieces Larrikin Lagoon Lefties Marble Bar Misfits Wagga Wagga Wombats Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles Whitsunday Warriors The coaches from each ORFFA team all contribute to their representative team selection based on their region. Each 15 player squad has to have at least one representative from each team in their sides. I will handle scoring, preview and review (and maybe weekly updates if I get a chance) Scoring is same style as ORFFA, with one small twist... we take the single highest score from the player selected over the three bye rounds. Highest total team score takes away the choccies. Over the next couple of days I will post some stats/squads etc for pondering/sledging/arguing, final teams to be submitted Friday 7 June at 6pm AEST
Looking at those numbers, it looks like Vic Tas will be smashed again... but like in previous seasons, the best score out of two concept always throws the cat amongst the pigeons!
Bandito, just concentrate on setting this up and leave non-Vics alone. So a well deserved get stuffed @Bandit
Toss a coin whether to go with Hore as a D4 or Cameron as a F4 as the Nuffers rep. Charlie's high standard deviation is potentially a better punt in a best of 2 weeks scoring system.
Whilst Hore is going well, I think our defenders are too strong to mess around with, so keep Cameron in the team and hope he puts in a strong game. But with the defenders, I think we go with Laird instead of Rich.
Worpel is Larrikin Lagoon's only representative, and is the one with the smallest gap in points based on position.
