Round 13 Date Friday 05.07.2019 – AFL Round 16 THEME: NAIDOC Round Each season the ORFFA stages NAIDOC Round to coincide with NAIDOC Week which, in 2019, is staged from July 7-14. NAIDOC Week helps us all celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. And the impact that Indigenous players continue to have in the AFL (and the ORFFA) is something most definitely worth celebrating. Gutsy win by the Chooks. Best of the season to date. The Lilacs came out swinging and I thought I was dead and buried on Saturday night, Dangerfield’s performance not withstanding. Got lucky that Ross had a down game and that Goldy, Ziebell and newly acquired Marc Murphy made up about 370 points, leaving Heater little to do (which was lucky as he did just a little bit more than sweet FA).
35 points........One day I will win against the Chooks. I will take that as that is a win for me, a score of 1340 is big for my team. this shows I can now match it with the best teams.
Would have smashed me this week, and @snoz likely will next week, the ladder is in flux from last year and that's a great thing for the league as a whole
Of all weeks for Seb Ross to have such a poor game. What a cracker of a game though - both teams really scoring heavily.
