    Round 13 Date Friday 05.07.2019 – AFL Round 16
    THEME: NAIDOC Round
Each season the ORFFA stages NAIDOC Round to coincide with NAIDOC Week which, in 2019, is staged from July 7-14. NAIDOC Week helps us all celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. And the impact that Indigenous players continue to have in the AFL (and the ORFFA) is something most definitely worth celebrating.

Whitsunday Warriors V Cradle Mountain Devils
Foul Bay Chickens V Lovely Banks Lilacs
Gundagai Grasshoppers V Iron Knob Codpieces
Gariwerd Cockatoos V Wagga Wagga Wombats
Larrikin Lagoon Lefties V Marble Bar Misfits
Venus Bay Vultures V Nowhere Else Wanderers
Wineglass Bay Packers V Nareewillock Nuffers
Charlies Opening Spelunkers V Birdsville Battlers
Mount Beauty Uglies V Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles

    Be at it

Want to put up an early team before some of my delusions are shattered. Tentative:
    D - J McGovern, J Finlayson, N Newman, R Burton (H Jones*)
    M - N Fyfe, J Dunkley, B Crouch, D Prestia (K Dunkley)
    R - R O'Brien
    F - M Robinson, T Papley, B Parfitt, T McLean (Z Bailey)
    I - D Howe, M Hibberd (B Williams)

    * - potential debutant; Harrison probably won't, but gee its nice to write that! Kyle named to play Sunday; so * off - a small win. The brothers look like playing together.

Edited to bring up to date

I am also managing Mike's menagerie whilst he is on holidays.

Lefties team even shitter than mine!

Def: Blake Hardwick, Harry Perryman, Oscar Allen, Colin O'Riordan
Mid: Angus Brayshaw, Jarrod Berry, Trent Dumont, Tom Phillips
Ruck: Archie Smith (Daniel McKenzie (OOP))
Fwd: James Worpel, Jackson Hately (OOP), Jy Simpkin, Josh Daicos
    Int: Jordan Clark, Lochie O'Brien

Disclosure: Smith, Hately and Mackenzie all on extended benches... but only viable options as Mike has no other players.

The Nuffers have 9/588 as at Saturday night, and will need to fire up on Sunday if they are to be any chance of upsetting the hometown Packers @Tracey

    back of an envelope calculation:
    Uglies - 635/9
    Cows - 884/10

Might have to wait another week @HeavyMen . Still the TdeF will provide a pleasant diversion.

Gutsy win by the Chooks. Best of the season to date. The Lilacs came out swinging and I thought I was dead and buried on Saturday night, Dangerfield’s performance not withstanding.

Got lucky that Ross had a down game and that Goldy, Ziebell and newly acquired Marc Murphy made up about 370 points, leaving Heater little to do (which was lucky as he did just a little bit more than sweet FA).

35 points........One day I will win against the Chooks.

I will take that as that is a win for me, a score of 1340 is big for my team. this shows I can now match it with the best teams.

Would have smashed me this week, and @snoz likely will next week, the ladder is in flux from last year and that's a great thing for the league as a whole :)

Of all weeks for Seb Ross to have such a poor game. What a cracker of a game though - both teams really scoring heavily.
