Excellent news mate... having seen it with a close mate, it's incredible what they do with modern medicine... I hope the treatments don't have too much of on ongoing impact for you too... well done on being a survivor!
Thanks stripey, once I get rid of the fatigue it should be back to normal. Can walk and play 9 holes of reasonable golf. The oncologist reckons in 3 months it will be back to normal for me. But, I am getting on in years .....
Wow, I know I haven't been on the forums much at all the last few years but missed this entirely. Great to hear you are improving rapidly mate, fingers crossed and all the best for the next scans. You're a tough old bugger so I'm expecting another all clear to follow.
Great news my friend! Just in time to allow me to be unbearable regarding Liverpool without concern it was going to make you even crankier. Thank god for modern science... stay well, and continue to work on the short game!
Thanks Stripey, Jason, Iain, and Bandit. Iain, I kept it quiet intentionally so you guys wouldn't gift me games. I've been on a high for a little while now as you can understand. Funding of medical science is real close to my heart now; how the tertiary sector can fund research into "the number of angels who can dance on a pinhead" when there are substantive issues that are short of funding blows my mind. Liverpool have the ability (and history) to blow a substantial lead Banditto; however, it wont be to Chelsea so I don't really care!
I know better than most my friend... just understand that as we continue to win, my level of unbearableness (is that even a word!) will continue to climb!
UGH I f**kn hate cancer, I have had close friends go through it also. Hopefully if you were a grumpy ass I wasn't reciprocally an a$$hole in return as i was unaware this was happening Great news you are in the clear for now mate, enjoy every day of life and make the most of it, thats why we are all here right?
They were pathetic (again) - . Just good enough to hold on against a 10 men arse side. Still I tipped them to finish 10th this season, so I suppose I should be delighted? Just don't feel it.
Graeme - this is wonderful news. I raise a glass to your continued health and the "unremarkableness" (if that is a word) of it all. I hope things stay on the right path as well
