The Warriors send Will Gould and 2020PSD #82 to the Cows for 2020 PSD picks #12 and 52. Thanks TiB, you are a gentleman, a scholar and royalty.
Terry can't trade 82 mate sorry, it's not a live pick, the latest he can trade is his last live one at 64
Pick 20 returns to the Lefties whilst Mr Briggs heads to Marble Bar for some highly anticipated bondage. @Len
The cockatoos @anthak have agreed with the Nuffers to trade PSD pick 25 and the Cockatoos 2021 PSD 3rd rounder in exchange for PSD pick 27 and the Lefties 2021 PSD 3rd rounder.
The Vultures @Fitzy and Nuffers agree to the following trade 2020 PSD Pick 32 and the Vultures 2021 PSD 3rd rounder depart Venus Bay in exchange for 2020 PSD Pick 37 and the Nuffers 2021 PSD 3rd rounder.
The Battlers and Vultures have agreed on a trade: The Vultures send picks 37 & 86 to the Battlers in exchange for picks 45 & 55.
@DaveH Wanderers and The Misfits have agreed to swap 2nd rucks as we traded the wrong one in draft due to comms errors. Misfits send Ryder, Wanderers send Hickey
So on 17/2/2020 you reported: "Marble Bar send Tom Hickey to the Wanderers in exchange for pick 24" A trade which @DaveH did not confirm in this thread. Now "@DaveH Wanderers and The Misfits have agreed to swap 2nd rucks as we traded the wrong one in draft due to comms errors. Misfits send Ryder, Wanderers send Hickey" Again waiting for @DaveH to confirm. So in essence you've amended / corrected the trade retrospectively, due to a communication error, to a trade of Ryder for pick 24? No problem, but perhaps if @DaveH was to confirm his trades this could have been amended back in mid-Feb?
It seems to me that a trade is incomplete until confirmed by all parties. It's not a question of doubting the veracity of any party, it's about confirming all the parties involved are in agreement about the detail. I thought it was a "rule" of ORFFA that trades were to be confirmed? Maybe it should be.
I’m trying to figure out the problem, at the time I was talking to Dave via text, he or obviously forgot to thumb it. I process all trades pretty much straight away and then deal with reversals if I have to. So essentially what is your problem with the trade of Hickey for Ryder? Couldn’t possibly get a more straight forward and even trade given our squads Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got no problem with the trade, in fact I mentally queried why you were trading out Hickey for PSD #24 when he is a handcuff to NicNat. The issue I was raising was it would be desirable for all parties to a trade to confirm it. That seems like a good practice to me.
During the draft, trade rules state "5.11 During the draft trades are passed by one of either; 6 non participating coach’s approval, or 6 active hours between 8am and 11pm without any stated objection." Outside of the draft, there are no requirements for confirmation. That being said, I think it would be good practice (and courtesy) for people to confirm trades when done. Not looking for a rule change, more an informal request for non-discretionary compliance
