@Tomster @wrightbrendan @JPK Didn’t Naismith hobble to the delist plane with Adams? I thought once someone was posted as delisted it couldn’t be reversed? May be wrong but just checking.
The rules on this are a bit ambiguous... as they mention PSD but not the MSD...maybe a change is needed to include the MSD. 5. DELISTMENTS (a) Pre-Season Draft delistments must be completed by the time stipulated by the board prior to the relevant draft; ORFFU lists can be no greater than 24 players prior to a PSD, due to the mandatory 4 picks. (b) To delist players, simply post the players delisted on the delisted thread. Posting a player as delisted is final - it can't be undone and they can't be relisted.
Re Sam Naismith @wrightbrendan came to me asking that I could be lenient in these unusual times, and allow him to trade Naismith rather than delisting. Trying to be a nice person, I pushed the rules and allowed this. Maybe I shouldn't have done this, and maybe we need to cancel the trade and sustain the delisting of Naismith. Sorry
I don’t really care either way, but it seems the lads did the right thing - can’t do much more than ask the Commish if the rules are a bit grey. id allow it but close the loophole immediately.
Understand if we aren't happy with it, forgot that we changed that rule. If needed we can reverse the trade
Sorry coaches! If it helps any, I wasn't trying to take advantage of any rule ambiguity. The reason I asked the boss was that I had only posted the names early in an effort to keep things moving while we were under time pressure to get things done. Normally I’d wait till the last moment to make delistings after exploring all options so I asked for an exemption when an opportunity came up. Happy moving forward either way ✌
