Thanks @YAD69 , sorry but real life has been getting in the way the last fortnight. With Robertson seen sitting in the stands, it looks like its Bailey & Starcevich vs Zorko, Berry & 22 points. I know where I'd be putting my money
@Mick its all over in the Goldfields, and Touk and the Big O didn't score 200-odd each, so the expected Coolgardie loss to the hands of Korumburra came to fruition.
Final result from The Stadium resulted in a nail biting finish on the final day. Banchang started the day 492 behind the Bulls with it all in front of them. But with a never say die attitude, they scrapped and scrapped and with Greenwood(128) and Lyons(113) leading the way, and Robbo chiming in with 95, they took it right up to the 7th placed Bulls, but with McCluggage potting his 1st goal in 450 yrs with 5 mins to go, taking his score to 119, The Barcrawlers fell short by 42. BOG: 3. David Mundy (SFB) 138 2. Lucas Davies-Uniacke (BB) 129 1. Hugh Greenwood (BB) 128 Next round, sees Staghorn Flat return home to host The Whalers from Eden while Banchang play host to Pakenham. @tyze1
Well! here's a 1st....posted the last report for Rd16 and the 1st Report for Rd17.... At the first break at The Stadium, the visiting Parasites have come out all guns blazing and, using the age ole strategy of "catch us if you can", sent out 6 players to do battle, while The Barcrawlers were still in the sheds having their pre-match meal of tom yum gung and moo dad deaw. And they finished the day on 6/502/82.8 with Andrew Gaff (154) displaying a master class, and being ably supported off the bench by Allen (92) and Sinclair (86) @ddsaints
Early days at Mill Park with the Bulls aiming for a club record 6 wins on the trot to close the season sees the Bulls launch from the blocks with Barrass (144) and Ryan (119) dominating proceedings. For @HOLKY 's Whalers slim pickings with Cole and Kent going sub 50. Word is also filtering through that Bulls prime mover in Coniglio has been dropped, which has left the Team Manager reaching for the team sheet to parachute a replacement player in. Reminds me of 1998 when then a young Bulls coach was sitting next to the Violet Town bench at the Rumbalara oval early in the Seniors match after playing a game of thirds, sausage roll in one hand, a VB can in the other, Team Manger kept looking my way, "tyze, go and get your gear on'. 2 games was the norm back in the day, sometimes 3! It might be Hately coming in to the team, we'll review later in the day. SFB 331/3/110 EW 72/2/36
Nothing much has happened at The Stadium since the last report, except the the Visitors' Blicavs has scored 134 and powered the Parasites further ahead and lead the home team 7/631/90.1 to Banchang's 2/130/65. @ddsaints
At The Stadium, Banchang have clawed their way back into the game against Pakenham thanks to a fine effort from their ruckman, Lycett with 128, but still trail the visitors 8/632 to 8/718, while the Parasites had Rivers score 107 in the scratch match against the Barcrawlers 2nds, played earlier in the day. @ddsaints
@eagle_eyed 5/9th through the game in the Goldfields, and after some shuffling of both teams, the good guys continue to lead the bad guys.
SCS with 4 tonnes to 2 but Hurley’s late out and Doch’s calf have cost us any chance of winning this one. Just another turd on the pile of what’s been a shit season. Go Sandgropers!!!
Come on mate. I thought we had a gentleman's agreement that your boys would do really well this week, so my boys wouldn't have to tank for me to move up in the draft order. You're ruining everything. Wait, was I not supposed to say that publicly?
Update from the Dino Dome sees the home team narrowly in front:- HPD 986/12/83 AA 967/11/87 Unfortunately the Armadillo’s have travelled with only 13 due to COVID quarantine problems and will need something special to win this one.
@Tylo Close match out at The Swamp with the home side leading by 18 points Cow Bay 968 / 13 / 74.5 with Noble and DeGoey to enter the field after warming up King Island 950 / 14 / 67.9 with Swallow still needing to lace up his boots
