I’ll admit I haven’t been very active and never saw the original suggestion for a round 18 Grand Final.

It was decided way back when for a schedule that saw all teams to play each other once - and in this cluster fuck of a season there was nothing fairer than this set up. Not to mention round 18 will be a complete crap shoot with teams ‘resting’ players for finals or those outside the eight putting players in moth balls after so many condensed rounds.....so screw that !!

Suffice to say - over here we are the #1 in deaths and cases (go us) to lead the world In futility and we can now add the coveted ORFFA silverware (go me).

In true Trumpy fashion - thanks for playing ya bunch of losers, the Hoppers reign supreme!

    (......only joking, love you all)

    sNoZ out!

Congrats Snoz! Well deserved. What a season you had! One of the all time best seasons by an ORFFA club!
Amazing considering how much ribbing you got from people when winning consecutive wooden spoons a few years ago.

    Indeed @anthak

It appears that @snoz has managed to guide the Hoppers to the 5th highest ever ORFFA home and away aggregate, bettered only by Foul Bay and Iron Knob (twice apiece).

An incredible effort in this pesky bye ridden season, congrats to the worthy Premiers !!

Congrats sNoZ, richly deserved and about bloody time. But where is the humility, the thank you to parents and family; the hopes for world peace. Oh, and the big thank you to Eddie. And why does every email to you come back noted "Donald is too busy to answer in person at this time.

    @Bandit
I think in past years you have worked out some indicative teams by average for review by both sets of SOO coaches.

While in theory we should be self sufficient I think this would give things a massive kick along if it could be done tonight.

Otherwise we at the Nuffers can all get back to our Mad Wednesday with CCJ inviting his mates Sydney Stack, Lachie Hunter and Steele Sidebottom along to assist with event planning and execution, and possible fisticuffs.

I'm not seeing enough interest mate to be honest. I can scramble something up but not busting my arse if we are just going to end up with a couple of people making the calls

yeah, I don't think anyone needs to go to that effort to set it up. Perhaps just set two threads naming the coaches assigned to each team and leave it up to the coaches involved in each team to come up with the starting players.

I just tracked down last season's:

    "
    Teams making up the sides:

The Vic/Tas teams consists of players from the following sides:

    Charlie's Opening Spelunkers
    Cradle Mountain Devils
    Gariwerd Cockatoos
    Lovely Banks Lilacs
    Mount Beauty Uglies
    Nareewillock Nuffers
    Nowhere Else Wanderers
    Venus Bay Vultures
    Wineglass Bay Packers

    The Rest/Stench/Others are comprised of:

    Birdsville Battlers
    Foul Bay Cheaters Chickens
    Gundagai Grasshoppers
    Iron Knob Codpieces
    Larrikin Lagoon Lefties
    Marble Bar Misfits
    Wagga Wagga Wombats
    Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles
    Whitsunday Warriors

The coaches from each ORFFA team all contribute to their representative team selection based on their region. Each 15 player squad has to have at least one representative from each team in their sides.

I think this year's game is supposed to be held in Gundagai, because Cripps was BOG last season. Is that how we do it? I cant remember exactly
