Australians selected in the 2021 ORFFU Pre-season draft by Banchang and Serengeti will have to put their plans on hold for at least another three months as the government has extended its ban on international travel. Restrictions on international travel departures and cruise ships in Australia will remain in place until at least mid-March. ..... has the ORFFU hierarchy got plans in place to help both overseas Clubs get access to their selected players, so they can begin training with their new team mates.... @JPK

More Detail from the legal department at ORFFU HQ: You could have chosen to locate your clubs in random country towns across the continent, like most other club administrators, or even found a lovely little Australian island to base yourselves at, but instead you decided to choose far-off exotic locations as the home base of your clubs. Did you not consider the potential for a global pandemic shutting down society as we know it, when choosing a home for your club? ORFFU Management can't be blamed for your lack of foresight, and so will take no responsibility in the training schedule for incoming or outgoing players to effected clubs.
This may well be the way we can get around it, seeing as we can't expect any assistance from @JPK at Head Office. I will contact the Buffaloes CEO @wrightbrendan and see if we can arrange something. Rumour has it that there are a few seaworthy "people smuggling boats" still on Christmas Is., in good condition, which @DamoH might be able to help us with.
