Nice start in Pinot and Mushroom Cup @TerryinBangkok - Jezza certainly helped tame those pesky tigers
Lefties undead Def - Hardwick, Markov, Rotham, Cox Mid - Anderson, Worpel, Simpkin, Perryman (Maginness) Ruck - Meek (Ham) Fwd - Brander, Schoe, Rankine, Georgiades (Cuningham) IC - Marshall, Hately
Laptop still AWOL so won’t be posting a lineup. The Devils vs Nuffers rivalry has been rather one sided but is always played in an outstanding spirit. Here is hoping Long, Macpherson and Jones are all late ins and we miraculously field a full 15, barring that avoiding our 14th consecutive loss is completely off the agenda. Good luck @dmandrews
Worriers - no worries. Will spend Mothers' Day packing up the Pinot and Mushroom Cup, just might add a few goodies from the region for you. Whose this bloke in Harmes (132) way? E&OE - Whits - 949/11, cows - 680/9
Cradle Mountain Devils Round 8 team and progress score Out: S McAdam (omitted), L Breust (omitted) In: Z Jones, N Vlastuin Def: D Rich, J Lever 35, N Vlastuin 59, H Cunningham 96 (L Brown) Mid: J Steele 110, S Pendlebury 78, J Hopper 80, D Heppell 85 Ruc: T Nankervis 70 Fwd: D Zorko, R Marshall 107, A Naughton, T Membrey 43 (J Mahony) Int: J Redden, Z Jones 98 (L Breust) 861/11 Nuffers are 534/9 with forward Tom McDonald (94) and defender Mason Redman (91) leading the way. Injuries have made it very difficult for the Nuffers in 2021. In particular injuries to the two players on their 2021 list that were the clear-cut highest scorers in 2020 in Trent Dumont who is yet to play in the ORFFA this season and Matt Rowell who injured his knee in the first quarter of Round 1. An ORFFA club being without it’s two highest scoring players makes a significant difference to the team’s performance and this is even more pronounced for a rebuilding team. Hopefully Dumont plays for the Nuffers in the next week or two and the team can register a four figure score before the mid-season break. @TheTassieHawk, overall our head to head battle has been pretty close over the past three years, whilst the Devils have had the better of the Nuffers in the ORFFA the roles have been reversed for the women’s teams we coach. The Mystix/Storm have a strong head to head lead over the Devils/Vixens in the ORFFW/Premier League although the teams have been in close proximity to each other on the ladder.
3 OOP's and another 5 scores under 60. You'll have to be pretty craptacular to lose to that, @anthak !!
What can I say @TerryinBangkok - had to ring the courier company to bring the Pinot Mushroom Cup back from the airport. The only time the cows headed the Worriers would have been in the last minutes of the last game. Seems this tanking business is harder than it looks.
