1 June 2021 MSD Trade period opens. 12 June 2021 9:00pm Delist deadline 13 June 2021 7:00pm MSD starts
Here are my available assets... don't ask about anyone else... up to 6 of these likely to be delisted for the MSD Sam Petrevski-Seton Thomas Highmore Will Brodie Ned McHenry Conor Stone Rhylee West Sydney Stack
On another point, with the AFL Mid Season draft being on June 2nd all players selected there will be eligible for selection in our draft as they will be AFL listed players. Thanks @Len for bringing this to our attention!
Hoppers putting up two players for potential trades. I’m after forwards only or improved MSD picks. Currently hold picks 17 & 35. Would consider trading my early 2022 PSD picks as well if need be.... Jordon Clark D/M Geelong - 20 yrs old. Brayden Sier Mid Collingwood - 23 yrs old.
Still getting my head around the Nuffers' list, but some handover talks with @TheTassieHawk did offer some direction on things. Accepting offers on a few gents - Messers Hannebery, Paton and Perez. Also am willing to trade Mr McDonald for the right price - will retain if that price is not met, but he isn't quite in the Nuffers rebuilding plans due to his age (regrettably, as he is playing very well) but might be helpful for a contender. I really don't know who the delists will be right now. Some of the guys mentioned above may go, some might not. So if there's any interest, let me know.
Anyone keen on Phil Davis, Tom Rockliff and/or Josh Jenkins.... ? I think its time I finally start to half consider a youth strategy
Lefties have little to offer but I’ll post the wantaways here regardless. Ling, Hayden, Cockatoo, Ham, Mead, Cuningham. Will take picks, fwds or defs.
A couple of these four will be delisted, come and get them cheap beforehand if you like them Duman Vandermeer Tomlinson Waterman Little higher value Fiorini C.Taylor Will consider all offers, pick improvement or player. More interested in mature players, any position, relatively settled up forward but will still consider.
The Devils likely delistings are: David Zaharakis Isiah Winder Shane McAdam and Luke Brown The players above are available for a late PSD or MSD pick upgrade or in exchange for an experienced player that improves Cradle Mountain’s depth.
We bid farewell to Mr McDonald with heavy heart. Would've loved to have kept him and enjoyed the rest of his renaissance, but given the state of the Nuffers list and the limited draft picks and draft options we have to work with, we really didn't have much of a choice but to try and trade our way into a better situation in order to get closer to where we need to be. (Trading away a team's best player is very difficult. Not something I enjoy.) Along those same lines, the Nuffers 4th round PSD pick in the next PSD (which will actually be quite early in the fourth round, so late 50s if my maths is working properly) is up on the table for a second round MSD pick (preferably in the 20s). If anyone is interested, drop a line.
I appreciate the heavy heart Chris. I read this several times and my initial thought was it couldn't possibly be Tom McDonald, surely it is the other one from North. Then I thought, is he delisting him? It really didn't say to me Tom McDonald is up for trade, looking for offers, would prefer picks or a defender, etc. Anyway, I hope you are happy with what Snoz offered up. With this trade you have made him the next Richmond
Welcome back to the ORFFA @chris88, good luck with the Nuffers. When @TheTassieHawk mentioned that he was going to stand down as the coach of the Nuffers and hand the reigns over there was some discussion about the new coach receiving some assistance in an attempt to make the Nuffers more competitive. In his first stint in the ORFFA with Darraweit Chris valued MSD picks higher than most, if not all other coaches in the league. It might be a bit late but @Bandit is it possible to have a discussion or a poll about providing Chris with at least one compensation pick in the 2021 MSD.
it is interesting, @chris88 hasn’t asked for one, but equally wouldn’t knock one back (nor would anyone). We have had instances in the past (@Jen taking over the frogs comes to mind) where this was discussed and voted down... so I am mindful of consistency. I have discussed it with Chris and I suggest we discuss the merits of priority picks at the end of the season, for any team that may think they need them. Then if we decide to take it to a vote, then we vote. @Len … you can spin up the draft thread wherever you are ready
IF we ever get around to compensation picks I would invoke a caveat that they cannot be traded (as a pick). Confess I am intrigued by who @snoz has his sights on in this upcoming draft. Fought well to secure #3. Suspect it might be out Waverly way. I have #2.
