The Devils are at the opposite end of the scales to the Lefties picking project players. CMD have loaded up on experienced players and have selected four players in their 30’s at the MSD so the club certainly isn’t living up to the Cradle part of its name. After the end of the 2021 ORFFA MSD 13 of the Devils 28 players were playing in the AFL when the ORFFA started back in 2012. The 13 players in this category are comprised of five players selected by the club in the inaugural ORFFA draft, four players traded in from the 2017 pre-season onwards and the four selections at this draft. At the end of the 2021 AFL season Cradle Mountain will have only four players on its list under 24 years of age.
