Midfielders Jacob Hopper and Dyson Heppell are the forced changes with concussion and a thumb injury respectively whilst defender Robbie Tarrant and forward Aaron Naughton have both been omitted. Jack Redden, Tom Lynch and Taylor Duryea have all been recalled and automatic selection Nick Vlastuin has been named in defense after recovering from a knee/quad injury. When the Devils hosted Mount Beauty in Round 2 @bama 's Uglies were far too good, recording a 200 point victory. Cradle Mountain finished fourth at the end of the home and away season with 12 wins and five losses whilst Mount Beauty finished sixth with 11 wins and six losses. During the 2021 home and away season the Devils averaged 1,340 points per game ranked second in the OFFA, 51.5 points per game more than MBU who were ranked fifth. The depth of both sides will be tested with several important players on the sidelines for both sides, most notably Scott Pendlebury for CMD and Dustin Martin for the Uglies. I have changed the positions of a few members of the Devils 15 man team for their quarter final against Mount Beauty. Rowan Marshall has been shifted from the forward line to the ruck. Taylor Duryea has been shifted from the interchange to the forward line and Tim English has been shifted from the ruck to the interchange.
Just after half-time the Cradle Mountain Devils at home are 849/8 to lead the Mount Beauty Uglies 684/8 who have suffered in-game injuries to midfielders Brandon Ellis and Sam Walsh. The Devils have five players to play today and two tomorrow whilst Mount Beauty will have four players take the field today and three tomorrow.

I could be wrong, but using fanfooty scores I've got @anthak Gariwerd at 1167 with Neal-Bullen and Hurn to play, and Venus Bay at 1154 with Gaff and Yeo to come. Very close! Nervy finish ahead.
Somehow ANB is pulling us across the line I think! Game paused due to lightning with about 15 min to go in the game and it’s still super close! I think I’m up by about 7 points as it stands
