I think in the past we've tried to be lenient and where someone has picked late but before the next pick was taken we've accepted it

@Iain as I understand it, top-up players can be selected at the end of PSD round 6 (i.e., pick # 108). Depending on the time remaining before AFL round 1 a process will be devised to add four players to each squad. This might be autopick or it may be 2 rounds of two selections perhaps snake order. So be prepared to be back in the spotlight soon amigo.
No worries mate. Just realised recently that I did a trade pre-draft and got a pick without sending one back so I've still technically got a live pick (97) in the last round just no normal spots to fill so assumed I wouldn't be able to pick a top-up then but wasn't sure.
The only one that has finshed draft to the normal 26 is Snoz. Tonight I'll hopefully get time to go through and remove the inactive picks listed. Once that's done I'll create a 2 or 3? (I've forgotten where we landed) round topup in snake order that follows on directly from the last "normal" pick. I am of the belief that we have not placed restrictons on the topups, only that they will be the only covd assist so use wisely?
I just made pick #79 and am sitting at 26 players (27 if you include both Kozzie twins) on my team sheet now.
With regards to questions about the top up picks… I think we treat it like a rookie draft so the first draft needs to get everyone up to 26 players before we head into the top up draft
Yup, I've only updated to 75... so impacts past that pick aren't in the capture, if you play both Kosy's you might get 1 decent score, I'm considering it where I hold him
What I gather, something of a framework we can work with: 4 players, 2 round snake, double picks. 4-6hr time limit within the day, 6am-12am Eastern Aus Funny Time (AEDT) If first round ends up being too slow, second round is just autopicks of D/M/F's depending on list numbers in those positions (tiebreakers just same as usual highest ave). Biggest decision to make: treat it as a continuation of this draft for consistency of players available, or let all players signed up to afl teams when it starts be open to selection (so includes the newer SSPs).
I'm ambivelant on the new players, nowhere near the end of the list of players I like.. If we keep them out it may add value to the MSD, but I'm comfortable either way, though if we do include them can someone please post a list with team and SC position?
