If it's Supercoach doing it then it's going to be automatically reflected on TS regardless so rather keep using the system in place then go back to just relying on spreadsheets.
I can't remember where I saw it but might have been an e-mail from SC so fairly sure it was official. Edit: I just googled it and seems they will be doing player position updates after round 6, 12 and 18.
@port_leschenault suggested it might be a good idea to have some intelligence to drive autopicks, should (when?) they become a reality for topups, he also provided a formulaic base for me to incorporate into the FL lists sheet. I've set the colour alerts as follows; Less than 7 Defenders and Forwards Less than 9 Mids Less than 3 Rucks DPP Players are counted in each eligible slot. Obviously there is no one size fits all, the amount of long term players/injured players etc skew it, but it should serve as a starting point for everyone to check against. The new list summary looks like this, will update live and can be found at the top right of the FL Squads tab,
The ruck stock is led by a guy on his third reco, I think it's better not to worry about that position for any autopicks and let people choose to take the risk there if so choose. Jones is retired anyway so don't think he's actually AFL listed any more. Can understand his decision tbh but was still annoying for the Quolls.
Fair to say the next draft will be run a lot differently.. we can have a vote after this thing is done and dusted but I would personally be in favour of: - reduced time to take picks (6hrs possibly) - no auto picks, miss your pick and you can come back in when you’re online and make your selection then, or yes auto picks apply but when the coach returns they can swap for any other free agent that is available? - if no selection was made at the 6 hours, the count for the next coach begins at that point, irrespective of when the first coach returns and makes his pick - after two missed picks in a row from a coach, automatic auto pick would apply allowing the draft to not stall every 2nd or 3rd day
Something will have to be done, league is kinda running on defib to restart it every year. We literally had a coach disappear the whole of last season and didn't notice. One of the disadvantages of teams rolling over. I think the 12hr limit is fair, its our third drafting deadline revision. Just as suggested cut it down to something like 3-4hrs if they autopicked previously.

Alright just so everyone knows when I went to put my team in for round 1 the Kozzie twins are messing with the selections. After entering my team it shows 5 FWDs including both of them, even after only adding one. Hopefully it doesn't mess with the algorithms.
I've emailed Les to check when it will be sorted given the timing. As long as a team is posted here I can edit it in tsleagues at any time up to the scoring being rolled.
Yeah it's highly likely any player updates in the system will require us to have to clear our teams anyway. Will start a thread for coaches to name their teams in
