Indeed @walesy still has Hayes, Tsitas, Wanganeen, Martin and Cox to add and ideally all of these will be added in the next 24 hours so would be able to be fielded prior to the Friday night match given the likelihood that Hayes and Martin are named, not sure of the prospects of the others.

Some selection oversights mean it’s likely The Spelunkers will be munching some :donut: this weekend.

team has been updated to fill the spots as best we can

Trying to post when dummy (which is highly appropriate). Scores from Newman, Bailey Williams, Prestia and Sparrow not encouraging. Looks like a depleted cows mob will line up as:

    D - J McGovern, N Newman, B Williams, R Burton (N Answerth)
    M - N Cox, T Mitchell, B Crouch, D Prestia (D Howe)
    R - R O'Brien
    F - J Dunkley, Z Bailey, J Finlayson, T Sparrow (B Close)
    I - B Parfitt, R Bonner (L O'Brien)

not sure what your point is @TerryinBangkok?

hayes played last night and did well but as an ORFFA Free Agent his non inclusion in TS stats and TS Leagues during Round 1 has no impact on any team

I’d there are any ssps that people are naming for in their 19 or 20 for this week that are not yet listed then perhaps
    (1) make this clear and
    (2) if possible, select other players instead if your squad has cover, which allows @walesy who I understand is VERY time poor to slot them POST ROUND rather than mid weekend

The point (if there is one): "ideally all of these will be added in the next 24 hours so would be able to be fielded prior to the Friday night match given the likelihood that Hayes and Martin are named". It is not a question, for me, of fielding anyone - it is just not missing anyone in your team in TS leagues - loose ends if you will. Hence sadness, but not a big deal.

In Cradle Mountain’s Round 1 road game against @Jen’s Lovely Bank Lilacs both teams were on track for 1300+ scores mid-way through the third quarter however the game then took a dramatic turn. In their first match since winning the 2021 ORFFA premiership the Devils were 823/9 half-way through the third quarter but their scoring rate has slowed dramatically from that point under the intense pressure applied by the Lilacs. The starting 13 for both teams have both completed their games and the Lilacs are going to record a resounding victory, leading by 174 with an extra interchange player still to take the field.

Cradle Mountain Devils 1065/14 with Int 2 Jack Redden to play
    Trail
Lovely Bank Lilacs 1239/13 with interchange players Liam Ryan and Nick Larkey to take the field

Two of the Devils four tons were scored by forwards that didn’t play in the 2021 GF - Jade Gresham 109 and Aaron Naughton 108. Ruck/forward Tim English scored 123 to help the Devils forward line to an impressive tally of 409 points and ruck Rowan Marshall top scored for CMD with 124 from the interchange. Veteran midfielder Dayne Zorko (26) injured his calf in the third quarter, and took no further part in the game, playing 48% game-time. The eight players on the Devils defensive and midfield lines were well down on their usual output and could only combine for 474 points at an average of 59.3 points per player with Steele and Pendlebury scoring 87 each to be the only two players out of eight on these lines to score 75+.

Six Lilacs have reached triple figures led by Isaac Heeney (141) new recruit Tyson Stengle (120) and Patrick Lipinski (133) who relished his role as a starting midfielder. The Lilacs forward line more than doubled the Devils defensive line, easily winning the battle 423 to 207 to set up Lovely Bank’s victory. Congratulations @Jen on the Lilacs comprehensive Round 1 win, a brilliant start to 2022 as they attempt to finals in consecutive seasons.

It's a great start to the season, Ryan didn't end up playing, in ISO, bloody COVID, so I got Wilkie's score.

1 round down 16 to go

Well, 2 Matty Rowells might’ve been handy after all.

Any way we can reverse the de-cloning?

I'm 2nd on the ladder, I have never been in the top 4 let alone the top 2.

So I will enjoy it for the next week, as things can change very quickly.
